5 A foole despiseth his fathers instruction: but he that regardeth correction, is prudent.
12 But as many as receiued him, to them he gaue prerogatiue to be the sonnes of God, euen to them that beleeue in his Name.
19 For the feruent desire of the creature waiteth when the sonnes of God shalbe reueiled,
7 He that walketh in his integritie, is iust: and blessed shall his children be after him.
25 A foolish sonne is a griefe vnto his father, and a heauines to her that bare him.
13 Then they brought litle children to him, that he should touch them, and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Iesus sawe it, he was displeased, and said to them, Suffer the litle children to come vnto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdome of God.
32 Therefore nowe hearken, O children, vnto me: for blessed are they that keepe my wayes. 33 Heare instruction, and be ye wise, and refuse it not: blessed is the man that heareth mee, watching dayly at my gates, and giuing attendance at the postes of my doores.
31 And they saide, Beleeue in the Lord Iesus Christ, and thou shalt be saued, and thine houshold.
8 My sonne, heare thy fathers instruction, and forsake not thy mothers teaching. 9 For they shalbe a comely ornament vnto thine head, and as chaines for thy necke.
7 He that keepeth the Law, is a childe of vnderstanding: but hee that feedeth the gluttons, shameth his father.
21 Litle children, keepe your selues from idoles, Amen.
1 The same time the disciples came vnto Iesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdome of heauen? 2 And Iesus called a litle childe vnto him, and set him in the mids of them, 3 And sayd, Verely I say vnto you, except ye be conuerted, and become as litle children, ye shall not enter into the kingdome of heauen. 4 Whosoeuer therefore shall humble himselfe as this litle childe, the same is the greatest in the kingdome of heauen.
15 Foolishnesse is bounde in the heart of a childe: but the rodde of correction shall driue it away from him.
4 One that can rule his owne house honestly, hauing children vnder obedience with all honestie.
24 He that spareth his rodde, hateth his sonne: but he that loueth him, chasteneth him betime.
25 At that time Iesus answered, and saide, I giue thee thankes, O Father, Lord of heauen and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and men of vnderstanding, and hast opened them vnto babes.
40 Thou shalt keepe therefore his ordinances, and his commandements which I commaund thee this day, that it may goe well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayst prolong thy dayes vpon the earth, which the Lord thy God giueth thee for euer.
20 Children, obey your parents in all thing for that is well pleasing vnto the Lord.
5 And ye haue forgotten the consolation, which speaketh vnto you as vnto children, My sonne, despise not the chastening of the Lord, neither faint when thou art rebuked of him. 6 For whom the Lord loueth, he chasteneth: and he scourgeth euery sonne that he receiueth: 7 If ye endure chastening, God offereth him selfe vnto you as vnto sonnes: for what sonne is it whom the father chasteneth not? 8 If therefore ye be without correction, whereof al are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sonnes. 9 Moreouer we haue had the fathers of our bodies which corrected vs, and we gaue them reuerence: should we not much rather be in subiection vnto the father of spirites, that we might liue?
2 Dearely beloued, nowe are we the sonnes of God, but yet it is not made manifest what we shall be: and we know that when he shalbe made manifest, we shalbe like him: for we shall see him as he is. 3 And euery man that hath this hope in him, purgeth himselfe, euen as he is pure.
1 A wise sonne will obey the instruction of his father: but a scorner will heare no rebuke.
16 The same Spirit beareth witnesse with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
19 But the liuing, the liuing, he shall confesse thee, as I doe this day: the father to the children shall declare thy trueth.
6 Teache a childe in the trade of his way, and when he is olde, he shall not depart from it.
10 See that ye despise not one of these litle ones: for I say vnto you, that in heauen their Angels alwayes behold the face of my Father which is in heauen.
6 And these wordes which I commaund thee this day, shalbe in thine heart. 7 And thou shalt rehearse them continually vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou tariest in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp:
22 Flee also from the lustes of youth, and follow after righteousnes, faith, loue, and peace, with them that call on the Lord with pure heart,
1 My sonne, forget not thou my Lawe, but let thine heart keepe my commandements. 2 For they shall increase the length of thy dayes and the yeeres of life, and thy prosperitie.
52 And Iesus increased in wisedome, and stature, and in fauour with God and men.
11 A childe also is knowen by his doings, whether his worke be pure and right.
4 And ye, fathers, prouoke not your children to wrath: but bring them vp in instruction and information of the Lord.
14 But Iesus sayd, Suffer the litle children, and forbid them not to come to me: for of such is the kingdome of heauen.
26 He that destroyeth his father, or chaseth away his mother, is a lewde and shamefull childe.
13 And all thy children shalbe taught of the Lord, and much peace shalbe to thy children.
14 But Iesus sayd, Suffer the litle children, and forbid them not to come to me: for of such is the kingdome of heauen.
26 For ye are al the sonnes of God by faith, in Christ Iesus. 27 For all ye that are baptized into Christ, haue put on Christ.
6 Teache a childe in the trade of his way, and when he is olde, he shall not depart from it.
4 And ye, fathers, prouoke not your children to wrath: but bring them vp in instruction and information of the Lord.
3 Beholde, children are the inheritance of the Lord, and the fruite of the wombe his rewarde.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
15 Foolishnesse is bounde in the heart of a childe: but the rodde of correction shall driue it away from him.
2 And what things thou hast heard of me, by many witnesses, ye same deliuer to faithfull men, which shalbe able to teache other also.
13 And all thy children shalbe taught of the Lord, and much peace shalbe to thy children.
7 And thou shalt rehearse them continually vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou tariest in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp:
11 Now no chastising for the present seemeth to be ioyous, but, grieuous: but afterwarde, it bringeth the quiet fruite of righteousnesse, vnto them which are thereby exercised.
12 That our sonnes may be as the plantes growing vp in their youth, and our daughters as the corner stones, grauen after the similitude of a palace:
1 My sonne, forget not thou my Lawe, but let thine heart keepe my commandements.
12 For the Lord correcteth him, whome he loueth, euen as the father doeth the childe in whom he deliteth.
4 I haue no greater ioy then these, that is, to heare that my sonnes walke in veritie.
9 Blessed are the peace makers: for they shall be called the children of God.
28 Take heede, and heare all these woordes which I commaund thee, that it may goe well with thee, and with thy children after thee for euer, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the Lord thy God.
15 The rodde and correction giue wisdome: but a childe set a libertie, maketh his mother ashamed.
11 Come children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord.
1 Better is the poore that walketh in his vprightnes, then he that abuseth his lips, and is a foole.
15 For ye haue not receiued the Spirit of bodage, to feare againe: but ye haue receiued the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father.
20 A wise sonne reioyceth the father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
22 Obey thy father that hath begotten thee, and despise not thy mother when she is olde. 23 Bye the trueth, but sell it not: likewise wisdome, and instruction, and vnderstanding.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother (which is the first commandement with promise) 3 That it may be well with thee, and that thou mayst liue long on earth.
15 Can a woman forget her childe, and not haue compassion on the sonne of her wombe? though they should forget, yet wil I not forget thee. 16 Behold, I haue grauen thee vpon the palme of mine hands: thy walles are euer in my sight.
6 Childres children are the crowne of the elders: and the glory of ye children are their fathers.
21 Fathers, prouoke not your children to anger, least they be discouraged.
6 Teache a childe in the trade of his way, and when he is olde, he shall not depart from it.
1 Nowe the childe Samuel ministred vnto the Lord before Eli: and the word of the Lord was precious in those dayes: for there was no manifest vision.
6 Childres children are the crowne of the elders: and the glory of ye children are their fathers.
14 Then I behelde, and rose vp, and said vnto the Princes, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not afrayde of them: remember the great Lord, and fearefull, and fight for your brethren, your sonnes, and your daughters, your wiues, and your houses.
12 Litle children, I write vnto you, because your sinnes are forgiuen you for his Names sake.
14 For as many as are ledde by the Spirit of God, they are the sonnes of God.
4 When he taught me, and sayde vnto me, Let thine heart holde fast my woordes: keepe my commandements, and thou shalt liue. 5 Get wisedom: get vnderstading: forget not, neither decline from the woordes of my mouth.
3 And sayd, Verely I say vnto you, except ye be conuerted, and become as litle children, ye shall not enter into the kingdome of heauen. 4 Whosoeuer therefore shall humble himselfe as this litle childe, the same is the greatest in the kingdome of heauen. 5 And whosoeuer shall receiue one such litle childe in my name, receiueth me.
1 Behold, what loue the Father hath giuen to vs, that we should be called the sonnes of God: for this cause this world knoweth you not, because it knoweth not him.
13 Withhold not correction from the childe: if thou smite him with the rodde, he shall not die.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
4 I haue no greater ioy then these, that is, to heare that my sonnes walke in veritie.
8 If there bee any that prouideth not for his owne, and namely for them of his housholde, hee denieth the faith, and is worse then an infidell.
1 Bee yee therefore followers of God, as deare children,
46 Then hee said vnto them, Set your heartes vnto all the wordes which I testifie against you this day, that ye may commande them vnto your children, that they may obserue and doo all the wordes of this Lawe. 47 For it is no vaine worde concerning you, but it is your life, and by this worde ye shall prolong your dayes in the land, whither yee go ouer Iorden to possesse it.
15 So when they had dined, Iesus said to Simon Peter, Simon the sonne of Iona, louest thou me more then these? He said vnto him, Yea Lord, thou knowest that I loue thee. He said vnto him, Feede my lambes.
36 And he tooke a litle childe, and set him in the middes of them, and tooke him in his armes, and sayd vnto them, 37 Whosoeuer shall receiue one of such litle children in my Name, receiueth me: and whosoeuer receiueth mee, receiueth not me, but him that sent me.
