18 Chasten thy sonne while there is hope, and let not thy soule spare for his murmuring.
6 And these wordes which I commaund thee this day, shalbe in thine heart. 7 And thou shalt rehearse them continually vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou tariest in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp:
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdome, and the lawe of grace is in her tongue.
10 Forget not the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said vnto me, Gather me the people together, and I wil cause them heare my wordes, that they may learne to feare me all the dayes that they shall liue vpon the earth, and that they may teache their children:
14 But Iesus sayd, Suffer the litle children, and forbid them not to come to me: for of such is the kingdome of heauen.
14 But continue thou in the thinges which thou hast learned, and which are committed vnto thee, knowing of who thou hast learned them: 15 And that thou hast knowen the holy Scriptures of a childe, which are able to make thee wise vnto saluation, through the faith which is in Christ Iesus.
15 Foolishnesse is bounde in the heart of a childe: but the rodde of correction shall driue it away from him.
18 Therefore shall ye lay vp these my words in your heart and in your soule, and binde them for a signe vpon your hand, that they may be as a frontlet betweene your eyes, 19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them, whe thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp. 20 And thou shalt write them vpon the postes of thine house, and vpon thy gates, 21 That your daies may be multiplied, and the daies of your children, in ye land which the Lord sware vnto your fathers to giue them, as long as the heauens are aboue the earth.
20 Children, obey your parents in all thing for that is well pleasing vnto the Lord. 21 Fathers, prouoke not your children to anger, least they be discouraged.
17 Correct thy sonne and he will giue thee rest, and will giue pleasures to thy soule.
8 My sonne, heare thy fathers instruction, and forsake not thy mothers teaching. 9 For they shalbe a comely ornament vnto thine head, and as chaines for thy necke.
13 And all thy children shalbe taught of the Lord, and much peace shalbe to thy children.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy dayes may be prolonged vpon the land, which the Lord thy God giueth thee.
5 And thou shalt loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soule, and with all thy might. 6 And these wordes which I commaund thee this day, shalbe in thine heart. 7 And thou shalt rehearse them continually vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou tariest in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp:
8 Taste ye and see, howe gratious the Lord is: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. 9 Feare the Lord, ye his Saintes: for nothing wanteth to them that feare him. 10 The lyons doe lacke and suffer hunger, but they, which seeke the Lord, shall want nothing that is good. 11 Come children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord.
4 And ye, fathers, prouoke not your children to wrath: but bring them vp in instruction and information of the Lord.
3 Which we haue heard and knowen, and our fathers haue tolde vs. 4 Wee will not hide them from their children but to the generation to come we wil shewe the praises of the Lord his power also, and his wonderful woorkes that he hath done:
11 Come children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord.
3 For I will powre water vpon the thirstie, and floods vpon the drie grounde: I will powre my Spirit vpon thy seede, and my blessing vpon thy buddes.
24 He that spareth his rodde, hateth his sonne: but he that loueth him, chasteneth him betime.
19 But the liuing, the liuing, he shall confesse thee, as I doe this day: the father to the children shall declare thy trueth.
4 Wee will not hide them from their children but to the generation to come we wil shewe the praises of the Lord his power also, and his wonderful woorkes that he hath done: 5 How he established a testimonie in Iaakob, and ordeined a Law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they shoulde teache their children: 6 That the posteritie might knowe it, and the children, which should be borne, should stand vp, and declare it to their children: 7 That they might set their hope on God, and not forget the workes of God but keepe his commandements:
3 Beholde, children are the inheritance of the Lord, and the fruite of the wombe his rewarde.
6 Teache a childe in the trade of his way, and when he is olde, he shall not depart from it.
7 If ye endure chastening, God offereth him selfe vnto you as vnto sonnes: for what sonne is it whom the father chasteneth not?
15 The rodde and correction giue wisdome: but a childe set a libertie, maketh his mother ashamed.
1 A Psalme to give instruction committed to Asaph. Heare my doctrine, O my people: incline your eares vnto the wordes of my mouth. 2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will declare high sentences of olde. 3 Which we haue heard and knowen, and our fathers haue tolde vs. 4 Wee will not hide them from their children but to the generation to come we wil shewe the praises of the Lord his power also, and his wonderful woorkes that he hath done:
1 Heare, O ye children, the instruction of a father, and giue eare to learne vnderstanding.
15 And that thou hast knowen the holy Scriptures of a childe, which are able to make thee wise vnto saluation, through the faith which is in Christ Iesus.
13 Withhold not correction from the childe: if thou smite him with the rodde, he shall not die. 14 Thou shalt smite him with the rodde, and shalt deliuer his soule from hell.
7 And thou shalt rehearse them continually vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou tariest in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp:
