Humildade

8 Finally, be ye all of one minde: one suffer with another: loue as brethren: bee pitifull: bee courteous,

12 Before destruction the heart of a man is hautie, and before glory goeth lowlines.

14 If my people, among whome my Name is called vpon, doe humble them selues, and praye, and seeke my presence, and turne from their wicked wayes, then will I heare in heauen, and be mercifull to their sinne, and wil heale their land:

3 That nothing be done through contention or vaine glory, but that in meekenesse of minde euery man esteeme other better then himselfe.

8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good, and what the Lord requireth of thee: surely to doe iustly, and to loue mercie, and to humble thy selfe, to walke with thy God.

18 Wiues, submit your selues vnto your husbands, as it is comely in the Lord. 19 Husbands, loue your wiues, and be not bitter vnto them.

4 The rewarde of humilitie, and the feare of God is riches, and glory, and life.

12 Now therfore as the elect of God holy and beloued, put on the bowels of mercies, kindnesse, humblenesse of minde, meekenesse, long suffering:

35 And he sate downe, and called the twelue, and said to them, If any man desire to be first, the same shalbe last of all, and seruant vnto all.

13 For brethren, ye haue bene called vnto libertie: onely vse not your libertie as an occasion vnto the flesh, but by loue serue one another.

48 And said vnto them, Whosoeuer receiueth this litle childe in my Name, receiueth me: and whosoeuer shall receiue me, receiueth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, he shall be great.

23 The pride of a man shall bring him lowe: but the humble in spirit shall enioy glory.

33 The feare of the Lord is the instruction of wisdome: and before honour, goeth humilitie.

8 Gracious and righteous is the Lord: therefore will he teache sinners in the way. 9 Them that be meeke, will hee guide in iudgement, and teach the humble his way.

20 Vnto God euen our Father be praise for euermore, Amen.

2 Therefore when thou giuest thine almes, thou shalt not make a trumpet to be blowen before thee, as the hypocrites doe in the Synagogues and in the streetes, to be praysed of men. Verely I say vnto you, they haue their rewarde.

6 Humble your selues therefore vnder the mightie hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

2 When pride commeth, then commeth shame: but with the lowly is wisdome.

3 Whose apparelling, let it not be that outwarde, with broyded heare, and golde put about, or in putting on of apparell: 4 But let it bee the hidde man of the heart, which consisteth in the incorruption of a meeke and quiet spirite, which is before God a thing much set by.

10 Cast downe your selues before the Lord, and he will lift you vp.

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew by good conuersation his workes in meekenesse of wisdome.

2 With all humblenesse of minde, and meekenesse, with long suffering, supporting one an other through loue,

28 And vile things of the worlde and thinges which are despised, hath God chosen, and thinges which are not, to bring to nought thinges that are, 29 That no flesh shoulde reioyce in his presence.

29 Take my yoke on you, and learne of me that I am meeke and lowly in heart: and ye shall finde rest vnto your soules. 30 For my yoke is easie, and my burden light.

16 Be of like affection one towardes another: be not hie minded: but make your selues equall to them of the lower sort: be not wise in your selues.
