19 God is not as man, that he should lie, neither as the sonne of man that he shoulde repent: hath he sayde and shall he not do it? and hath he spoken, and shall he not accomplish it?
1 Now the Spirit speaketh euidently, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, and shall giue heede vnto spirits of errour, and doctrines of deuils, 2 Which speake lies through hypocrisie, and haue their cosciences burned with an hote yron, 3 Forbidding to marrie, and commanding to abstaine from meates which God hath created to be receiued with giuing thankes of them which beleeue and knowe the trueth.
16 These sixe things doeth the Lord hate: yea, his soule abhorreth seuen: 17 The hautie eyes, a lying tongue, and the hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that imagineth wicked enterprises, feete that be swift in running to mischiefe, 19 A false witnesse that speaketh lyes, and him that rayseth vp contentions among brethren.
44 Ye are of your father the deuill, and the lustes of your father ye will doe: hee hath bene a murtherer from the beginning, and abode not in the trueth, because there is no trueth in him. When hee speaketh a lie, then speaketh hee of his owne: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.
16 Thou shalt not beare false witnes against thy neighbour.
7 There shall no deceitful person dwell within mine house: he that telleth lyes, shall not remaine in my sight.
11 Ye shall not steale, neither deale falsely, neither lie one to another.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that yee haue put off the olde man with his workes, 10 And haue put on the newe, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him,
6 The gathering of treasures by a deceitfull tongue is vanitie tossed to and from of them that seeke death.
1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David. Holde not thy tongue, O God of my praise. 2 For the mouth of the wicked, and the mouth full of deceite are opened vpon me: they haue spoken to me with a lying tongue.
5 A faithfull witnes will not lye: but a false record will speake lyes.
14 But if ye haue bitter enuying and strife in your hearts, reioyce not, neither be liars against the trueth.
15 For without shall be dogs and inchanters, and whoremongers, and murtherers, and idolaters, and whosoeuer loueth or maketh lies.
25 Wherefore cast off lying, and speake euery man truth vnto his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
22 The lying lips are an abomination to the Lord: but they that deale truely are his delite.
13 The remnant of Israel shall do none iniquitie, nor speake lies: neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shalbe fed, and lie downe, and none shall make them afraide.
7 Hie talke becommeth not a foole, much lesse a lying talke a prince.
