10 For euen when we were with you, this we warned you of, that if there were any, which would not worke, that he should not eate. 11 For we heare, that there are some which walke among you inordinately, and worke not at all, but are busie bodies. 12 Therefore them that are such, we warne and exhort by our Lord Iesus Christ, that they worke with quietnes, and eate their owne bread.
31 Whether therefore ye eate, or drinke, or whatsoeuer ye doe, doe all to the glory of God.
23 And whatsoeuer ye doe, doe it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men,
6 Goe to the pismire, O sluggarde: beholde her waies, and be wise. 7 For shee hauing no guide, gouernour, nor ruler, 8 Prepareth her meat in the sommer, and gathereth her foode in haruest. 9 Howe long wilt thou sleepe, O sluggarde? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleepe? 10 Yet a litle sleepe, a litle slumber, a litle folding of the hands to sleepe. 11 Therefore thy pouertie commeth as one that trauaileth by the way, and thy necessitie like an armed man.
9 He also that is slouthfull in his worke, is euen the brother of him that is a great waster.
23 In all labour there is abundance: but the talke of the lippes bringeth onely want.
17 And whatsoeuer ye shall doe, in worde or deede, doe all in the Name of the Lord Iesus, giuing thankes to God euen the Father by him.
12 Verely, verely I say vnto you, he that beleeueth in me, the workes that I doe, hee shall doe also, and greater then these shall he doe: for I goe vnto my Father.
24 The hand of the diligent shall beare rule: but the idle shalbe vnder tribute.
14 Let all your things be done in loue.
12 I know that there is nothing good in them, but to reioyce, and to doe good in his life. 13 And also that euery man eateth and drinketh, and seeth the commoditie of all his labour. this is the gift of God.
14 Do all things without murmuring and reasonings, 15 That ye may be blamelesse, and pure, and the sonnes of God without rebuke in the middes of a naughtie and crooked nation, among whom yee shine as lights in the world,
4 A slouthfull hand maketh poore: but the hand of the diligent maketh riche.
22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh riche, and he doeth adde no sorowes with it.
15 Studie to shewe thy selfe approued vnto God, a workeman that needeth not to be ashamed, diuiding the worde of trueth aright.
24 The hand of the diligent shall beare rule: but the idle shalbe vnder tribute.
3 Commit thy workes vnto the Lord, and thy thoughts shalbe directed.
8 And God is able to make all grace to abound towarde you, that yee alwayes hauing all sufficiencie in all thinges, may abounde in euery good worke,
3 Commit thy workes vnto the Lord, and thy thoughts shalbe directed.
9 Two are better then one: for they haue better wages for their labour.
13 Loue not sleepe least thou come vnto pouertie: open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
19 Surely hee will not much remember the dayes of his life, because God answereth to the ioy of his heart.
23 And whatsoeuer ye doe, doe it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men, 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receiue the reward of the inheritance: for ye serue the Lord Christ.
16 For the whole Scripture is giuen by inspiration of God, and is profitable to teache, to conuince, to correct, and to instruct in righteousnesse, 17 That the man of God may be absolute, being made perfect vnto all good workes.
18 Also to euery man to whom God hath giuen riches and treasures, and giueth him power to eate thereof, and to take his part, and to enioy his labour: this is the gift of God.
8 There is one alone, and there is not a second, which hath neither sonne nor brother, yet is there none end of all his trauaile, neither can his eye be satisfied with riches: neither doeth he thinke, For whome doe I trauaile and defraude my soule of pleasure? this also is vanitie, and this is an euill trauaile.
8 Looke to your selues, that we lose not the things which we haue done, but that we may receiue full reward.
11 And that ye studie to be quiet, and to meddle with your owne busines, and to worke with your owne handes, as we commanded you, 12 That yee may behaue your selues honestly towarde them that are without, and that nothing be lacking vnto you.
4 Also I beheld all trauaile, and all perfection of workes that this is ye enuie of a man against his neighbour: this also is vanitie and vexation of spirit.
24 But I passe not at all, neither is my life deare vnto my selfe, so that I may fulfill my course with ioye, and the ministration which I haue receiued of the Lord Iesus, to testifie the Gospell of the grace of God.
7 With good will, seruing the Lord, and not men. 8 And knowe ye that whatsoeuer good thing any man doeth, that same shall he receiue of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
58 Therefore my beloued brethren, be ye stedfast, vnmoueable, aboundant alwayes in the worke of the Lord, forasmuch as ye knowe that your labour is not in vaine in the Lord.
13 And who is it that will harme you, if ye follow that which is good?
26 Behold the foules of the heauen: for they sowe not, neither reape, nor carie into the barnes: yet your heauenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better then they?
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entred into his rest, hath also ceased from his owne works, as God did from his.
11 The riches of vanitie shall diminish: but he that gathereth with the hand, shall increase them.
28 Let him that stole, steale no more: but let him rather labour, and worke with his handes the thing which is good, that hee may haue to giue vnto him that needeth.
10 All that thine hand shall finde to doe, doe it with all thy power: for there is neither worke nor inuention, nor knowledge, nor wisedome in the graue whither thou goest.
17 And let the beautie of the Lord our God be vpon vs, and direct thou the worke of our hands vpon vs, euen direct the worke of our handes.
15 Studie to shewe thy selfe approued vnto God, a workeman that needeth not to be ashamed, diuiding the worde of trueth aright.
