25 Truly, truly I tell you, the hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear it will live.
15 Then he said to them,"As you go into all the world, proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
10 Then he called to the crowd and said to them,"Listen and understand!
13 You, too, have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed in him you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of God's own possession, to his praise and glory.
28 But he said,"Rather, how blessed are those who hear God's word and obey it!"
12 For there is no difference between Jew and Greek, because they all have the same Lord, who gives richly to all who call on him.
13 For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
14 How, then, can people call on someone they have not believed? And how can they believe in someone they have not heard about? And how can they hear without someone preaching?
15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of thosewho bring the good news!"
16 But not everyone has obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah asks, "Lord, who has believed our message?"
17 Consequently, faith comes from listening, and listening comes through the word of Christ.
23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him listen!"
14 "With them the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says:‘You will listen and listen but never understand. You will look and look but never comprehend.
15 For this people's heart has become dull, and their ears are hard of hearing. They have shut their eyesso that they might not see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’
16 "How blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear!
2 I want to learn only one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law or by believing what you heard?
24 "Truly, truly I tell you, the one who hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life.
3 At the same time also pray for us—that God would open before us a door for the word so that we may tell the secret about Christ, for which I have been imprisoned.
44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him to life on the last day.
45 It is written in the Prophets, ‘And all of them will be taught by God.’Everyone who has listened to the Father and has learned anything comes to me.
46 Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who comes from God. This one has seen the Father.
47 Truly, truly I tell you, the one who believes in mehas eternal life.
