1 First of all, then, I urge you to offer petitions, prayers, intercessions, and expressions of thanks for all people,
2 for kings, and for everyone who has authority, so that we might lead a quiet and peaceful life with all godliness and dignity.
3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
50 Salt is good. But if salt loses its taste, how can you restore its flavor? Keep on having salt among yourselves, and live in peace with one another."
2 Do not be conformed to this world, but continually be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God's will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect.
4 For everything God created is good, and nothing should be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
5 because it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
12 So then, the law itself is holy, and the commandment is holy, just, and good.
17 Every generous act of giving and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father who made the heavenly lights, in whom there is no inconsistency or shifting shadow.
16 Do not allow your good to be spoken of as evil.
