12 Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is helpful. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not allow anything to control me.
41 All of youmust stay awake and pray that you won't come into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak."
8 Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
4 Through these he has given us his precious and wonderful promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, seeing that you have escaped the corruption that is in the world caused by evil desires.
13 And never bring us into temptation,but deliver us from the evil one.’
16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will never fulfill the desires of the flesh.
2 You want something but do not get it, so you commit murder. You covet something but cannot obtain it, so you quarrel and fight. You do not get things because you do not ask for them!
7 What should we say, then? Is the law sinful? Of course not! In fact, I wouldn't have known sin if it had not been for the law. For I wouldn't have known what it means to covet if the law had not said, "You must not covet."
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, in their eagerness to get rich, have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with much pain.
13 When someone is tempted, he should not say, "I am being tempted by God," because God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
13 No temptation has overtaken you that is unusual for human beings. But God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength. Instead, along with the temptation he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to endure it.
4 Let marriage be kept honorable in every way, and the marriage bed undefiled. For God will judge those who commit sexual sins, especially those who commit adultery.
16 For everything that is in the world—the desire for fleshly gratification, the desire for possessions, and worldly arrogance—is not from the Father but is from the world.
17 And the world and its desires are fading away, but the person who does God's will remains forever.
21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
1 Brothers, if a person is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should restore that person in a spirit of gentleness. Watch out for yourself so that you are not tempted as well.
2 But because sexual immorality is so rampant, every man should have his own wife, and every woman should have her own husband.
13 For you, brothers, were called to freedom. Only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity to gratify your flesh, but through love make it your habit to serve one another.
5 So put to death your worldly impulses: sexual sin, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry).
