8 Finally, all of you must live in harmony, be sympathetic, love as brothers, and be compassionate and humble.
3 Do not act out of selfish ambition or conceit, but with humility think of others as being better than yourselves.
18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.
12 Therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.
6 Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you.
20 Glory belongs to our God and Father forever and ever! Amen.
48 Then he said to them,"Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is greatest."
35 So he sat down and called the twelve. He told them,"If anyone wants to be first he must be last of all and servant of all."
10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
28 And God chose what is insignificant in the world, what is despised, what is nothing, in order to destroy what is something,
29 so that no human being may boast in God's presence.
3 Your beauty should not be an external one, consisting of braided hair or the wearing of gold ornaments and dresses.
4 Instead, it should be the inner disposition of the heart, consisting in the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great value in the sight of God.
13 Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good life that his works are done in humility born of wisdom.
29 Place my yoke on you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is pleasant, and my burden is light."
16 Live in harmony with each other. Do not be arrogant, but associate with humble people. Do not think that you are wiser than you really are.
2 with all humility and gentleness, along with patience, accepting one another in love.
13 For you, brothers, were called to freedom. Only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity to gratify your flesh, but through love make it your habit to serve one another.
2 So whenever you give to the poor, don't blow a trumpet before you like the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets so that they will be praised by people. Truly I tell you, they have their full reward!
