22 I saw no temple in it, because the Lord God Almighty and the lamb are its temple.
23 The city doesn't need any sun or moon to give it light, because the glory of God gave it light, and the lamb was its lamp.
10 He carried me away in the Spirit to a large, high mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven.
11 It had the glory of God, and its light was like a valuable gem, like jasper, as clear as crystal.
12 It had a large, high wall with twelve gates. Twelve angels were at the gates, and the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates.
13 There were three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.
14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the lamb were written on them.
1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal. It was flowing from the throne of God and the lamb.
2 Between the street of the city and the river there was the tree of life visible from both sides. It produced twelve kinds of fruit, each month having its own fruit. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
3 There will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and the lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him
4 and see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
5 There will be no more night, and they will not need any light from lamps or the sun because the Lord God will shine on them. They will rule forever and ever.
26 But the heavenly Jerusalem is the free woman, and she is our mother.
22 Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, to tens of thousands of angels joyfully gathered together,
23 to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to a judge who is the God of all, to the spirits of righteous people who have been made perfect,
24 to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better message than Abel's.
19 If anyone takes away any words from the book of this prophecy, God will take away his portion of the tree of life and the holy city that are described in this book.
11 I am coming soon! Hold on to what you have so that no one takes your victor's crown.
12 I will make the one who conquers a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, and he will never go out of it again. I will write on him the name of my God, the name of the city of my God (the new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God), and my own new name.
1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believein God, believe also in me.
2 There are many rooms in my Father's house. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going away to prepare a place for you?
3 And if I am going away to prepare a place for you, I will come again and will welcome you into my presence, so that you may be where I am.
2 I also saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.
3 I heard a loud voice from the throne say, "See, the tabernacle of God is among humans! He will make his home with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them, and he will be their God.
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There won't be death anymore. There won't be any grief, crying, or pain, because the first things have disappeared."
16 Instead, they were longing for a better country, that is, a heavenly one. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, because he has prepared a city for them.
