1 In the beginning, the Word existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
24 "Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on a rock.
25 The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, but it did not collapse because its foundation was on the rock.
14 The Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. We gazed on his glory, the kind of glory that belongs to the Father's unique Son, full of grace and truth.
28 But he said,"Rather, how blessed are those who hear God's word and obey it!"
17 Consequently, faith comes from listening, and listening comes through the word of Christ.
45 It is written in the Prophets, ‘And all of them will be taught by God.’Everyone who has listened to the Father and has learned anything comes to me.
20 First of all, you must understand this: No prophecy in Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation,
21 because no prophecy ever originated through a human decision. Instead, men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
24 "Truly, truly I tell you, the one who hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life.
25 Truly, truly I tell you, the hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear it will live.
47 The one who belongs to God listens to the words of God. The reason you do not listen is because you do not belong to God."
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
17 so that the man of God may be complete and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
27 My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me.
