23 May the God of peace himself make you holy in every way. And may your whole being—spirit, soul, and body—be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
23 "At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look! Here is the Christ!’or ‘There he is!’, don't believe it.
24 For false christs and false prophets will appear and display great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 Remember, I have told you this beforehand.
21 For at that time there will be great suffering, the kind that has not happened from the beginning of the world until now and certainly will never happen again.
22 If those days had not been limited, no life would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be limited.
11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people.
12 It trains us to renounce ungodly living and worldly passions so that we might live sensible, honest, and godly lives in the present world
13 as we wait for the blessed hope and the glorious appearance of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
14 He gave himself for us to set us free from every wrong and to cleanse us so that we could be his special people who are enthusiastic about good works.
20 The one who is testifying to these things says,"Yes, I am coming soon!"Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
20 The one who is testifying to these things says,"Yes, I am coming soon!"Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
44 So you, too, must be ready, because at an hour you are not expecting him the Son of Man will come."
27 Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in a cloud’with power and great glory.
7 Therefore, you don't lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.
8 He will keep you strong until the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
28 Even now, little children, abide in him. Then, when he appears, we will have confidence and will not turn away from him in shame at his coming.
25 "There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and there will be distress on earth among the nations that are confused by the roaring of the sea and its waves.
26 People will faint with fear and apprehension because of the things that are to come on the world, for the powers of heaven will be shaken loose.
27 Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in a cloud’with power and great glory.
28 "Now when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, for your deliverance is near."
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
7 The end of everything is near; so be sensible and clear-headed for the sake of your prayers.
12 Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.
13 You will be hated continuously by everyone because of my name. But the person who endures to the end will be saved."
16 With a shout of command, with the archangel's call, and with the sound of God's trumpet, the Lord himself will come down from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
18 So then, encourage one another with these words.
8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," declares the Lord God, the one who is, who was, and who is coming, the Almighty.
3 While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately and said, "Tell us, when will these things take place, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
4 Jesus answered them,"See to it that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in my name and say, ‘I am the Christ,’and they will deceive many people.
6 You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you are not alarmed. These things must take place, but the end hasn't come yet.
11 There will be great earthquakes and famines and plagues in various places, and there will be fearful events and awful signs from heaven.
30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, by whom you were marked with a seal for the day of redemption.
1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believein God, believe also in me.
2 There are many rooms in my Father's house. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going away to prepare a place for you?
3 And if I am going away to prepare a place for you, I will come again and will welcome you into my presence, so that you may be where I am.
12 "See! I am coming soon! My reward is with me to repay everyone according to his work.
34 "Constantly be on your guard so that your hearts may not be loaded down with self-indulgence, drunkenness, and the worries of this life, or that day will take you by surprise
35 like a trap. For it will come on all who live on the face of the earth.
36 So be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place and to take your stand in the presence of the Son of Man."
32 "Now learn a lessonfrom the fig tree. When its branches become tender and it produces leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 In the same way, when you see all these things, you will know that he is near, right at the door.
29 "Immediately after the sufferingof those days,‘The sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky,and the powers of heaven will be shaken loose.’
30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn when they see ‘the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven’ with power and great glory.
31 He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to another."
27 TheSon of Man is going to come with his angels in his Father's glory, and then he will repay everyone according to what he has done.
42 "So keep on watching, because you don't know on what day your Lord is coming.
42 "So keep on watching, because you don't know on what day your Lord is coming.
15 "Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheeps’ clothing but inwardly are savage wolves.
12 and because lawlessness will increase, the love of many people will grow cold.
13 But the person who endures to the end will be saved.
9 "As for yourselves, be on your guard! Peoplewill hand you over to local councils, and you will be beaten in their synagogues. You will stand before governors and kings to testify to them because of me.
10 But first, the gospel must be proclaimed to all nations.
9 "Then they will hand you over to sufferingand will kill you, and you will be hated by all the nationsbecause of my name.
10 Then many people will fall by the way and will betray one another and hate one another.
11 Many false prophets will appear and deceive many people,
6 I am convinced of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Christ Jesus.
11 They asked, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you saw him go up into heaven."
8 Don't forget this fact, dear friends: With the Lord a single day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a single day.
11 I am coming soon! Hold on to what you have so that no one takes your victor's crown.
24 And let us continue to consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,
25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another even more as you see the day coming nearer.
28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people. And he will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly wait for him.
10 While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, two men in white robes were standing right beside them.
11 They asked, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you saw him go up into heaven."
26 Then people will see ‘the Son of Man coming in clouds’ with great power and glory.
27 He will send out his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven."
8 For nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes and famines in various places. These things are only the beginning of the birth pains."
26 So if they say to you, ‘Look! He's in the wilderness,’ don't go out looking for him.And if they say, ‘Look! He's in the storeroom,’ don't believe it.
