Vida

15 Then he said to them,"Be careful to guard yourselves against every kind of greed, for a person's life doesn't consist of the amount of possessions he has."

36 For what profit will a person have if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life?

13 Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good life that his works are done in humility born of wisdom.

25 "That's why I'm telling you to stop worrying about your life—what you will eat or what you will drink—or about your body—what you will wear. Life is more than food, isn't it, and the body more than clothing?

26 Look at the birds in the sky. They don't plant or harvest or gather food into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren't you?

27 Can any of you add a single hour to your span of lifeby worrying?

38 The one who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, will have rivers of living water flowing from his heart."

10 For "the person who wants to love lifeand see good days must keep his tongue from eviland his lips from speaking deceit.

11 He must turn away from evil and do good.He must seek peace and pursue it.

20 I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

14 Pursue peace with everyone, as well as holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

6 Jesus said to him,"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

3 And this is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent—Jesus Christ.

11 Also, make it your goal to live quietly, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we instructed you,

12 so that you may win the respect of outsiders, and have need of nothing.

35 Jesus said to them,"I am the bread of life. The one who comes to me will never become hungry, and the one who believes in me will never become thirsty.

2 Do not be conformed to this world, but continually be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God's will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect.

7 For we live by faith, not by sight.

20 I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

12 How blessed is the man who endures temptation! When he has passed the test, he will receive the victor's crown of life that God has promised to those who keep on loving him.

23 Whatever you do, work at it wholeheartedly as though you were doing it for the Lord and not merely for people.

25 Jesus said to her,"I am the resurrection and the life. The person who believes in me, even though he dies, will live.

26 Indeed, everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe that?"

10 The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

34 Then Jesus called the crowd to himself along with his disciples and said to them,"If anyone wants to follow me, he must deny himself, pick up his cross, and follow me continually.

35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and for the gospel will save it.

36 For what profit will a person have if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life?

37 Indeed, what can a person give in exchange for his life?

38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes with the holy angels in his Father's glory."

15 So, then, be careful how you live. Do not be unwise but wise,

16 making the best use of time because the days are evil.
