Ezequiel 27 - Bíblia Online

LA parola del Signore mi fu ancora indirizzata, dicendo: 
E tu, figliuol d’uomo, prendi a far lamento di Tiro. 
E di’ a Tiro, che è posta all’entrata del mare, che mercanteggia co’ popoli in molte isole: Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: O Tiro, tu hai detto: Io son compiuta in bellezza. 
I tuoi confini erano nel cuor del mare; i tuoi edificatori ti aveano fatta compiutamente bella. 
Fabbricavano tutte le tue navi di tavole d’abeti di Senir; prendevano de’ cedri del Libano, per farti degli alberi di nave; 
facevano i tuoi remi di querce di Basan; facevano i tuoi tavolati di avorio, e di legno di busso, che era portato dalle isole di Chittim. 
Il fin lino di Egitto, lavorato a ricami, era ciò che tu spiegavi in luogo di vela; il giacinto, e la porpora, venuta dalle isole di Elisa, erano il tuo padiglione. 
Gli abitanti di Sidon, e di Arvad, erano tuoi vogatori; i tuoi savi, o Tiro, erano in te; erano i tuoi nocchieri. 
Gli anziani di Ghebal, e i suoi savi, erano in te, riparando le tue navi sdrucite; tutte le navi del mare, ed i lor marinai, erano in te, per trafficar teco. 
Que’ di Persia, e di Lud, e di Put, erano tuoi soldati, ne’ tuoi eserciti; appiccavano in te lo scudo e l’elmo; essi ti rendevano magnifica. 
I figliuoli di Arvad, e il tuo esercito, erano sopra le tue mura, attorno attorno; e i Gammadei erano nelle tue torri, appiccavano le lor targhe alle tue mura d’ogni’ intorno; essi aggiungevano perfezione alla tua bellezza. 
La gente di Tarsis mercanteggiava teco, con ricchezze d’ogni maniera in abbondanza; frequentavano le tue fiere, con argento, ferro, stagno, e piombo. 
Que’ di Iavan, di Tubal, e di Mesec, eran tuoi mercatanti; frequentavano i tuoi mercati con anime umane, e vasellamenti di rame. 
Que’ della casa di Togarma frequentavano le tue fiere con cavalli, e cavalcatori, e muli. 
I figliuoli di Dedan erano tuoi mercatanti; molte isole passavano per lo traffico delle tue mani; ti pagavano presenti di denti di avorio, e d’ebano. 
La Siria trafficava teco della moltitudine de’ tuoi lavori; frequentava le tue fiere, con ismeraldi, e porpora, e ricami, e bisso, e coralli, e rubini. 
Que’ di Giuda, e del paese d’Israele, erano tuoi mercatanti; frequentavano i tuoi mercati, con grani di Minnit, e Fannag, e miele, e olio, e balsamo. 
Damasco faceva traffico teco della moltitudine de’ tuoi lavorii, con robe d’ogni maniera in abbondanza; con vino di Helbon, e con lana candida. 
Dan ancora, e il vagabondo Iavan frequentavano le tue fiere; e facevano che ne’ tuoi mercati vi era ferro forbito, cassia, e canna odorosa. 
Que’ di Dedan erano tuoi mercatanti, in panni nobili, da cavalli, e da carri, 
Gli Arabi, e tutti i principi di Chedar, negoziavano teco; facevano teco traffico d’agnelli, e di montoni, e di becchi. 
I mercatanti di Seba, e di Raema, trafficavano teco; frequentavano le tue fiere con aromati squisiti, e con pietre preziose d’ogni maniera, e con oro. 
Que’ di Haran, di Canne, e di Eden, mercatanti di Seba, e que’ di Assiria, e di Chilmad, trafficavano teco. 
Essi negoziavano teco in grosso, di balle di giacinto, e di ricami, e di casse di vestimenti preziosi, legate di corde, e fatte di legno di cedro. 
Le navi di Tarsis erano le tue carovane, ne’ tuoi mercati; e tu sei stata ripiena, e grandemente glorificata nel cuor de’ mari 
I tuoi vogatori ti hanno condotta in alto mare; il vento orientale ti ha rotta nel cuor del mare. 
Le tue ricchezze, e le tue fiere, e il tuo traffico, i tuoi marinai, e i tuoi nocchieri, quelli che riparavano le tue navi sdrucite, e i tuoi fattori, e tutta la tua gente di guerra, ch’era in te, insieme con tutto il popolo, ch’era in mezzo di te, caderanno nel cuor del mare, nel giorno della tua ruina. 
Alla voce del grido de’ tuoi nocchieri, le barche tremeranno. 
E tutti quelli che trattano il remo, i marinai, e tutti i nocchieri del mare, smonteranno dalle lor navi, e si fermeranno in terra. 
E faranno sentir la lor voce sopra te, e grideranno amaramente, e si getteranno della polvere in sul capo, e si voltoleranno nella cenere. 
E per te si dipeleranno, e si cingeranno di sacchi, e piangeranno per te con amaritudine d’animo, con amaro cordoglio. 
E prenderanno a far lamento di te, nelle lor doglianze, e diranno di te ne’ lor rammarichii: Chi era come Tiro? chi era pari a quella che è stata distrutta in mezzo del mare? 
All’uscir delle tue fiere per mare, tu saziavi molti popoli; tu arricchivi i re della terra per l’abbondanza delle tue ricchezze, e del tuo commercio. 
Nel tempo che tu sei stata rotta dal mare, nelle profondità delle acque, la tua mercatanzia, e tutto il tuo popolo son caduti in mezzo di te. 
Tutti gli abitanti delle isole sono stati attoniti di te, e i loro re ne hanno avuto orrore, e ne sono stati conturbati in faccia. 
I mercatanti fra i popoli hanno zufolato sopra te; tu sei divenuta tutta spaventi, e tu non sarai mai più in perpetuo 

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying: 
`And thou, son of man, lift up concerning Tyre a lamentation, and thou hast said to Tyre: 
O dweller on the entrances of the sea, Merchant of the peoples unto many isles, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: O Tyre, thou -- thou hast said: I [am] the perfection of beauty. 
In the heart of the seas [are] thy borders, Thy builders have perfected thy beauty. 
Of firs of Senir they have built to thee all thy double-boarded ships, Of cedars of Lebanon they have taken to make a mast for thee, 
Of oaks of Bashan they made thine oars, Thy bench they have made of ivory, A branch of Ashurim from isles of Chittim. 
Of fine linen with embroidery from Egypt hath been thy sail, To be to thee for an ensign, Of blue and purple from isles of Elishah hath been thy covering. 
Inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad have been rowers to thee, Thy wise men, O Tyre, have been in thee, They [are] thy pilots. 
Elders of Gebal and its wise men have been in thee, Strengthening thy breach; All ships of the sea and their mariners, Have been in thee, to trade [with] thy merchandise. 
Persian and Lud and Phut Have been in thy forces -- thy men of war. Shield and helmet they hung up in thee, They -- they have given out thine honour. 
The sons of Arvad, and thy force, [Are] on thy walls round about, And short swordsmen in thy towers have been, Their shields they have hung up on thy walls round about, They -- they have perfected thy beauty. 
Tarshish [is] thy merchant, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For silver, iron, tin, and lead, They have given out thy remnants. 
Javan, Tubal, and Meshech -- they [are] thy merchants, For persons of men, and vessels of brass, They have given out thy merchandise. 
They of the house of Togarmah, [For] horses, and riding steeds, and mules, They have given out thy remnants. 
Sons of Dedan [are] thy merchants, Many isles [are] the mart of thy hand, Horns of ivory and ebony they sent back thy reward. 
Aram [is] thy merchant, Because of the abundance of thy works, For emerald, purple, and embroidery, And fine linen, and coral, and agate, They have given out thy remnants. 
Judah and the land of Israel -- they [are] thy merchants, For wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, And honey, and oil, and balm, They have given out thy merchandise. 
Damascus [is] thy merchant, For the abundance of thy works, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For wine of Helbon, and white wool. 
Vedan and Javan go about with thy remnants, They have given shining iron, cassia, and cane, In thy merchandise it hath been. 
Dedan [is] thy merchant, For clothes of freedom for riding. 
Arabia, and all princes of Kedar, They [are] the traders of thy hand, For lambs, and rams, and he-goats, In these thy merchants. 
Merchants of Sheba and Raamah -- they [are] thy merchants, For the chief of all spices, And for every precious stone, and gold, They have given out thy remnants. 
Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, merchants of Sheba, Asshur -- Chilmad -- [are] thy merchants, 
They [are] thy merchants for perfect things, For wrappings of blue, and embroidery, And for treasuries of rich apparel, With cords bound and girded, for thy merchandise, 
Ships of Tarshish [are] thy double walls of thy merchandise, And thou art filled and honoured greatly, In the heart of the seas. 
Into great waters have they brought thee, Those rowing thee, The east wind hath broken thee in the heart of the seas. 
Thy wealth and thy remnants, Thy merchandise, thy mariners, And thy pilots, strengtheners of thy breach, And the traders of thy merchandise, And all thy men of war, who [are] in thee, And in all thine assembly that [is] in thy midst, Fall into the heart of the seas in the day of thy fall, 
At the voice of the cry of thy pilots shake do the suburbs. 
And come down from their ships have all handling an oar, Mariners, all the pilots of the sea, on the land they stand, 
And have sounded for thee with their voice, And cry bitterly, and cause dust to go up on their heads, In ashes they do roll themselves. 
And they have made for thee baldness, And they have girded on sackcloth, And they have wept for thee, In bitterness of soul -- a bitter mourning. 
And lifted up for thee have their sons a lamentation, And they have lamented over thee, who [is] as Tyre? As the cut-off one in the midst of the sea? 
With the outgoing of thy remnants from the seas, Thou hast filled many peoples, With the abundance of thy riches, and thy merchandise, Thou hast made rich things of earth. 
The time of [thy] being broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, Thy merchandise and all thy assembly in thy midst have fallen. 
All inhabitants of the isles have been astonished at thee, And their kings have been sore afraid, They have been troubled in countenance. 
Merchants among the peoples have shrieked for thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not -- to the age!`
