OR queste sono le generazioni di Esaù, che è Edom. 
Esaù prese le sue mogli d’infra le figliuole de’ Cananei; Ada, figliuola di Elon Hitteo; ed Oholibama, figliuola di Ana, e figliuola di Sibon Hivveo; 
e Basemat, figliuola d’Ismaele, sorella di Nebaiot. 
E Ada partorì ad Esaù Elifaz; e Basemat partorì Reuel. 
Ed Oholibama partorì Ieus, e Ialam, e Cora. Questi sono i figliuoli di Esaù, che gli nacquero nel paese di Canaan. 
Ed Esaù prese le sue mogli, ed i suoi figliuoli, e le sue figliuole, e tutte le persone di casa sua, e le sue gregge, e tutte le sue bestie, e tutte le sue facoltà, che egli avea acquistate nel paese di Canaan; ed andò nel paese, lungi da Giacobbe, suo fratello. 
Perciocchè le lor facoltà erano troppo grandi, per poter dimorare insieme; e il paese, nel quale abitavano come forestieri, non li poteva comportare per cagion de’ lor bestiami. 
Ed Esaù abitò nella montagna di Seir. Esaù è Edom 
E queste sono le generazioni di Esaù, padre degl’Idumei, nella montagna di Seir. 
Questi sono i nomi de’ figliuoli di Esaù: Elifaz, figliuolo di Ada, moglie di Esaù; e Reuel, figliuolo di Basemat, moglie di Esaù. 
E i figliuoli di Elifaz furono Teman, Omar, Sefo, Gatam, e Chenaz. 
E Timna fu concubina d’Elifaz, figliuolo di Esaù, e gli partorì Amalec. Questi furono i figliuoli di Ada moglie di Esaù. 
E questi furono i figliuoli di Reuel: Nahat, e Zera, e Samma, e Mizza. Questi furono i figliuoli di Basemat, moglie di Esaù. 
E questi furono i figliuoli d’Oholibama figliuola di Ana, figliuola di Sibon, moglie di Esaù. Ella partorì ad Esaù Ieus, Ialam e Cora. 
Questi sono i duchi de’ figliuoli di Esaù: de’ figliuoli di Elifaz, primogenito di Esaù, il duca Teman, il duca Omar, il duca Sefo, il duca Chenaz; 
il duca Cora, il duca Gatam, il duca Amalec. Questi furono i duchi della linea di Elifaz, nel paese degl’Idumei. Essi furono dei figliuoli di Ada. 
E questi furono i duchi de’ figliuoli di Reuel, figliuolo di Esaù: il duca Nahat, il duca Zera, il duca Samma, il duca Mizza. Questi furono i duchi della linea di Reuel, nel paese degl’Idumei. Questi furono de’ figliuoli di Basemat, moglie di Esaù. 
E questi furono de’ figliuoli di Oholibama, moglie di Esaù: il duca Ieus, il duca Ialam, il duca Cora. Questi furono i duchi de’ figliuoli di Oholibama, figliuola di Ana, moglie di Esaù. 
Questi furono i figliuoli di Esaù, che è Edom; e questi furono i duchi d’infra loro 
Questi furono i figliuoli di Seir Horeo, i quali abitavano in quel paese cioè: Lotan, e Sobal, e Sibon, ed Ana; e Dison, ed Eser, e Disan. 
Questi furono i duchi degli Horei, figliuoli di Seir, nel paese degl’Idumei. 
E i figliuoli di Lotan furono Hori, ed Hemam; e la sorella di Lotan fu Timna. 
E questi furono i figliuoli di Sobal, cioè: Alvan, e Manahat, ed Ebal, e Sefo, ed Onam. 
E questi furono i figliuoli di Sibon: Aia, ed Ana. Questo Ana fu colui che trovò le acque calde nel deserto, mentre pasturava gli asini di Sibon, suo padre. 
E questi furono i figliuoli di Ana: Dison, ed Oholibama, figliuola di Ana. 
E questi furono i figliuoli di Dison: Hemdan, ed Esban, ed Itran, e Cheran. 
Questi furono i figliuoli di Eser, cioè: Bilhan, e Zaavan, ed Aran. 
Questi furono i figliuoli di Dison, cioè: Us, ed Aran. 
Questi furono i duchi degli Horei: il duca Lotan, il duca Sobal, il duca Sibon, il duca Ana; 
il duca Dison, il duca Eser, il duca Disan. Questi furono i duchi degli Horei, secondo il numero de’ lor duchi nel paese di Seir 
E questi furono i re, che regnarono nel paese d’Idumea, avanti che re alcuno regnasse sopra i figliuoli d’Israele. 
Bela, figliuolo di Beor, regnò in Idumea; e il nome della sua città era Dinhaba. 
E, morto Bela, Iobab, figliuolo di Zera, da Bosra, regnò in luogo suo. 
E, morto Iobab, Husam, del paese de’ Temaniti, regnò in luogo suo. 
E, morto Husam, Hadad, figliuolo di Bedad, il qual percosse i Madianiti nel territorio di Moab, regnò in luogo suo; e il nome della sua città era Avit. 
E, morto Hadad, Samla, da Masreca, regnò in luogo suo. 
E, morto Samla, Saul, da Rehobot del Fiume, regnò in luogo suo. 
E, morto Saul, Baal-hanan, figliuolo di Acbor, regnò in luogo suo. 
E, morto Baal-hanan, figliuolo di Acbor, Hadar regnò in luogo suo; il nome della cui città era Pau e il nome della sua moglie era Mehetabeel, figliuola di Matred, figliuola di Mezahab. 
E questi sono i nomi de’ duchi di Esaù, per le lor famiglie, secondo i lor luoghi, nominati de’ loro nomi: il duca Timna, il duca Alva, il duca Ietet; 
il duca Oholibama, il duca Ela, il duca Pinon; 
il duca Chenaz, il duca Teman, il duca Mibsar; 
il duca Magdiel, e il duca Iram. Questi furono i duchi degl’Idumei, spartiti secondo le loro abitazioni, nel paese della lor possessione. Così Esaù fu padre degl’Idumei 

And these [are] births of Esau, who [is] Edom. 
Esau hath taken his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon the Hivite, 
and Bashemath daughter of Ishmael, sister of Nebajoth. 
And Adah beareth to Esau, Eliphaz; and Bashemath hath born Reuel; 
and Aholibamah hath born Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah. These [are] sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan. 
And Esau taketh his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance which he hath acquired in the land of Canaan, and goeth into the country from the face of Jacob his brother; 
for their substance was more abundant than to dwell together, and the land of their sojournings was not able to bear them because of their cattle; 
and Esau dwelleth in mount Seir: Esau is Edom. 
And these [are] births of Esau, father of Edom, in mount Seir. 
These [are] the names of the sons of Esau: Eliphaz son of Adah, wife of Esau; Reuel son of Bashemath, wife of Esau. 
And the sons of Eliphaz are Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz; 
and Timnath hath been concubine to Eliphaz son of Esau, and she beareth to Eliphaz, Amalek; these [are] sons of Adah wife of Esau. 
And these [are] sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah; these were sons of Bashemath wife of Esau. 
And these have been the sons of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon, wife of Esau; and she beareth to Esau, Jeush and Jaalam and Korah. 
These [are] chiefs of the sons of Esau: sons of Eliphaz, first-born of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz, 
chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek; these [are] chiefs of Eliphaz, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Adah. 
And these [are] sons of Reuel son of Esau: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah; these [are] chiefs of Reuel, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Bashemath wife of Esau. 
And these [are] sons of Aholibamah wife of Esau: chief Jeush, chief Jaalam, chief Korah; these [are] chiefs of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, wife of Esau. 
These [are] sons of Esau (who [is] Edom), and these their chiefs. 
These [are] sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, 
and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan; these [are] chiefs of the Horites, sons of Seir, in the land of Edom. 
And the sons of Lotan are Hori and Heman; and a sister of Lotan [is] Timna. 
And these [are] sons of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho and Onam. 
And these [are] sons of Zibeon, both Ajah and Anah: it [is] Anah that hath found the Imim in the wilderness, in his feeding the asses of Zibeon his father. 
And these [are] sons of Anah: Dishon, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah. 
And these [are] sons of Dishon: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran. 
These [are] sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan. 
These [are] sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran. 
These [are] chiefs of the Horite: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah, 
chief Dishon, chief Ezer, chief Dishan: these [are] chiefs of the Horite in reference to their chiefs in the land of Seir. 
And these [are] the kings who have reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king over the sons of Israel. 
And Bela son of Beor reigneth in Edom, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah; 
and Bela dieth, and reign in his stead doth Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah; 
and Jobab dieth, and reign in his stead doth Husham from the land of the Temanite. 
And Husham dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad son of Bedad (who smiteth Midian in the field of Moab), and the name of his city [is] Avith; 
and Hadad dieth, and reign in his stead doth Samlah of Masrekah; 
and Samlah dieth, and reign in his stead doth Saul from Rehoboth of the River; 
and Saul dieth, and reign in his stead doth Baal-hanan son of Achbor; 
and Baal-hanan son of Achbor dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadar, and the name of his city [is] Pau; and his wife`s name [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-zahab. 
And these [are] the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, according to their places, by their names: chief Timnah, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth, 
chief Aholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon, 
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar, 
chief Magdiel, chief Iram: these [are] chiefs of Edom, in reference to their dwellings, in the land of their possession; he [is] Esau father of Edom.
