3 Behold, sons [are] a heritage of the LORD, [and] the fruit of the womb [is] to be desired.
4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so [are] the young men.
5 Happy [is] the man that has filled his quiver with them: he shall not be ashamed when he speaks with the enemies in the gate.:
16 And of his fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
6 Children's children [are] the crown of old men, and the honour of the children [are] their fathers.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning.
1 [A Psalm] of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, [bless] the name of his holiness.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed [be] the LORD, who has not left thee this day without a redeemer, whose name shall be famous in Israel.
15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of [thy] soul and a sustainer in thy old age, for thy daughter-in-law, whom thou doth love, who is better to thee than seven sons, has given birth.
28 Give unto the LORD, ye families of the peoples, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you
27 For this child I prayed, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.
4 We will not hide [them] from their sons, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD and his strength and his wonderful works that he has done.
9 For what thanks can we render to God again for you for all the joy with which we joy for your sakes before our God,
19 He who lives, he who lives, even he shall confess thee, as I [do] this day; the father to the sons shall make known thy truth.
