12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another as I have loved you.
1 We then that are stronger ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not please ourselves.
35 for I was hungry, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;
36 naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed [thee]? or thirsty and give [thee] drink?
38 When did we see thee a stranger and take [thee] in? or naked and clothe [thee]?
39 Or when did we see thee sick or in prison and come unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brothers, ye have done [it] unto me.
4 [with] each one not looking to their own things, but also to the things of others.
13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his soul for his friends.
35 I have showed you [in] all things how that so labouring, ye ought to support the weak and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
36 And when he had thus spoken, he knelt down and prayed with them all.
37 Then they all wept sore and fell on Paul's neck and kissed him,
38 sorrowing most of all for the word which he spoke, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.:
38 give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye measure out it shall be measured to you again.
14 My brethren, What shall it profit though someone says [that] they have faith and do not have works? Shall this type of faith be able to save them?
15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,
16 and one of you says unto them, Depart in peace; be [ye] warmed and filled; but ye do not give them those things which are needful for the body; what [shall it] profit them?
17 Even so faith, if it does not have works, is dead in and of itself.
16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.
42 Give to him that asks [of] thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
13 sharing for the needs of the saints, [and] given to hospitality.
10 And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
11 He answered and said unto them, He that has two coats, let him impart to him that has none; and he that has food, let him do likewise.
17 But whosoever has this world's goods and sees his brother have need and shuts up his bowels [of compassion] from him, how does the charity of God abide in him?
17 He that gives unto the poor lends unto the LORD, and he will give him his reward.
28 Let him that stole steal no more, but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands that which is good, that he may have to give to him that is in need.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of the Christ.
33 Sell what ye have and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches neither moth corrupts.
34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land; therefore, I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor and to thy needy, in thy land.
