7 Not because ye were more than the other peoples has the LORD desired you and chosen you; for ye [were] the fewest of all the peoples;
8 but because the LORD loved you and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, has the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand and ransomed you out of the house of bondage from the hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt.
9 Know, therefore, that the LORD thy God, he [is] God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy with those that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations
10 and repays him that hates him to his face, to destroy him; he will not be slack to him that hates him; he will repay him to his face.
11 Keep, therefore, the commandments and statutes and rights, which I command thee this day, to do them.
12 And it shall come to pass, for having heard these rights and for having kept them [by] doing them that the LORD thy God shall keep the covenant with thee and the mercy which he swore unto thy fathers;
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, so that death intervening for the redemption of the rebellions [that took place] under the first testament, those who are called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
5 Now therefore, if ye will give ear to hearken unto my voice and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a special treasure unto me above all peoples; for all the earth [is] mine.
6 And ye shall be my kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These [are] the words which thou shalt speak unto the sons of Israel.
8 For finding fault with them, he said, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new testament with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
9 not according to the testament that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not continue in my testament, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this [is] the testament that I will ordain to the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord: I will give my laws into their soul and write them upon their hearts, and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 and no one shall teach his neighbour nor anyone his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will reconcile their iniquities and their sins, and their iniquities I will remember no more.
25 After the same manner also [he took] the cup, after he had eaten supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood; do this each time that ye drink, in remembrance of me.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.
8 And I will give unto thee and to thy seed after thee, the land in which thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting inheritance; and I will be their God.
9 And God said [again] unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou and thy seed after thee in their generations.
10 This [shall be] my covenant, which ye shall keep between me and you and thy seed after thee: Every male among you shall be circumcised.
11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall be a token of the covenant between me and you.
7 He [is] the LORD our God; his judgments [are] in all the earth.
8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word [which] he commanded for a thousand generations,
9 which [covenant] he made with Abraham and his oath unto Isaac
6 but now a more excellent ministry is his, in that he is the mediator of a better testament, which was established upon better promises.
10 For the mountains shall be removed, and the hills shall tremble; but my mercy shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be changed, said the LORD that has mercy on thee.
31 (for the LORD thy God [is] a merciful God), he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he swore unto them.
23 But the LORD was merciful unto them, and had compassion on them, and looked upon them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and did not desire to destroy them or to cast them from his presence as yet.
34 I will not profane my covenant, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
36 His seed shall endure for ever and his throne as the sun before me.
37 It shall be established for ever as the moon and [as] a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.
25 Ye are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
26 Unto you first, God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, that each one of you might turn from his iniquities.:
