Amor

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

13 And now abide faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.:

13 And now abide faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.:

15 Can a woman forget her sucking child that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Even though they may forget, I will not forget thee.

16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of [my] hands; thy walls are continually before me.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments;

9 [Let] love be without dissimulation, abhorring that which is evil, causing you to come unto that which is good;

9 [Let] love be without dissimulation, abhorring that which is evil, causing you to come unto that which is good;

10 loving one another with brotherly love, with honour preferring one another;

13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his soul for his friends.

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brothers, ye have done [it] unto me.

13 And now abide faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.:

35 But rather love ye your enemies and do good and lend, hoping for nothing again, and your reward shall be great; and ye shall be the sons of the Most High, for he is kind [even] unto the unthankful and [to] the evil.

8 Owe no one anything, but love one unto another; for he that loves [his] neighbour has fulfilled the law.

13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his soul for his friends.

30 and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy thought and with all thy strength: this [is] the principal commandment.

31 And the second [is] like it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for [he is] good; for his mercy [endures] for ever.

2 And though I have [the gift of] prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. Anyone that loves is born of God and knows God.

8 He that does not love does not know God, for God is charity.

4 Charity suffers long [and] is benign; charity envies not; charity does [nothing] without due reason, is not puffed up,

5 is not injurious, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil,

16 In this we have known the charity [of God] because he laid down his life for us; we also ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren.

17 But whosoever has this world's goods and sees his brother have need and shuts up his bowels [of compassion] from him, how does the charity of God abide in him?

18 My little children, let us not love in word neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. Anyone that loves is born of God and knows God.

5 And the Lord make your hearts upright in the charity of God and in the hope of the Christ.

19 We love him, because he first loved us.

9 As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love.

10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.

23 O love the LORD, all ye his merciful ones, [for] the LORD preserves the faithful and plentifully rewards the proud doer.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to those that hate you, and pray for those who speak evil about you, and persecute you;

14 And above all these things [put on] charity, which is the bond of perfection.

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another as I have loved you.

38 Therefore I am certain that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come

39 nor height nor depth nor any creature shall be able to separate us from the charity of God, which is in Christ, Jesus our Lord.:

12 Hatred stirs up strifes, but love covers all sins.

7 The many waters cannot quench love, neither can the rivers drown it; if [a] man would give all the substance of his house for this love, it would certainly be despised.

8 Cause me to hear thy mercy in the morning, for in thee do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto thee.

14 Let all your things be done with charity.

10 loving one another with brotherly love, with honour preferring one another;

13 forbearing one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a quarrel against another: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.

14 And above all these things [put on] charity, which is the bond of perfection.

14 Let all your things be done with charity.

9 But as it is written, That which eye has not seen nor ear heard neither has entered into the heart of man [is] that which God has prepared for those that love him.

3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee; bind them about thy neck; write them upon the tablet of thine heart:

4 So shalt thou find grace and good favour in the sight of God and man.

14 We know that we are passed from death unto life, in that we love the brethren. He that does not love [his] brother abides in death.

16 And we have known and believed the charity that God has in us. God is charity, and he that abides in charity abides in God, and God in him.

17 In this the charity with us is made perfect, that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, that as he is, so are we in this world.

18 In charity there is no fear; but charity that is perfect casts out fear; because fear has torment; from which he that fears is not complete in charity.

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, That we should love one another.

8 He that does not love does not know God, for God is charity.

8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves; for charity shall cover [a] multitude of sins.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man,

17 that the Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that ye, being rooted and grounded in charity,

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

9 And this I pray that your charity may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all perception,

10 that ye may approve the best, that ye may be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ,

11 being filled with fruits of righteousness, which [are] by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

4 Because thou wast precious in my sight, thou wast worthy of honour, and I have loved thee.

2 with all humility and meekness, with tolerance, forbearing one another in love,

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

21 He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.

22 Judas, not Iscariot, said unto him, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us and not unto the world?

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, He who loves me will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him.

24 He that does not love me does not keep my words, and the word which ye have heard is not mine, but of the Father who sent me.

12 Therefore, all things whatsoever ye desire that men should do unto you, so also shall ye do unto them, for this is the law and the prophets.

12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and his charity is completed in us.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

21 And we have this commandment from him, That he who loves God loves his brother also.:

38 Therefore I am certain that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come

39 nor height nor depth nor any creature shall be able to separate us from the charity of God, which is in Christ, Jesus our Lord.:

16 And we have known and believed the charity that God has in us. God is charity, and he that abides in charity abides in God, and God in him.

25 Husbands, love your wives even as the Christ also loved the church and gave himself for her,

26 that he might sanctify and cleanse her in the washing of water by the word,

19 We love him, because he first loved us.

20 If anyone says, I love God and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he that does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

4 Charity suffers long [and] is benign; charity envies not; charity does [nothing] without due reason, is not puffed up,

5 is not injurious, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil,

6 rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 Behold, what charity the Father has given us, that we should be called the sons of God; therefore the world does not know us, because it does not know him.

34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

35 By this shall everyone know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves; for charity shall cover [a] multitude of sins.

9 [Let] love be without dissimulation, abhorring that which is evil, causing you to come unto that which is good;

8 But God increased the price of his charity toward us in that while we were yet sinners the Christ died for us.

13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his soul for his friends.

9 In this was the charity of God demonstrated in us, in that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 In this does the charity consist, not because we had loved God, but because he loved us and has sent his Son [to be] the reconciliation for our sins.

20 If anyone says, I love God and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he that does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

3 For this is the charity of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous.

19 We love him, because he first loved us.

8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves; for charity shall cover [a] multitude of sins.

14 And above all these things [put on] charity, which is the bond of perfection.
