3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 what is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou dost visit him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels and hast crowned him with glory and beauty.
9 But ye are the chosen generation, [a] royal priesthood, [a] holy nation, [an] acquired people, that ye should show forth the virtues of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
17 Therefore, how precious are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!
18 [If] I should count them, they are more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with thee.
7 He raises up the poor out of the dust [and] lifts the destitute out of the dunghill;
8 that he may set [him] with princes, [even] with the princes of his people.
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; ye are of more value than many sparrows.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made; marvellous [are] thy works, and [that], my soul knows right well.
3 Therefore I say through the grace given unto me, to all those that are among you not to obtain more knowledge than is prudent to know, but to obtain knowledge with temperance, each one according to the measure of faith that God has dealt.
7 And the LORD replied unto Samuel, Do not look on his countenance or on the height of his stature because I have refused him, for it is not as man sees, for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.
