8 But ye shall receive the virtue of the Holy Spirit which shall come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 As diamond harder than flint I have made thy forehead: do not fear them, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they [are] a rebellious house.
9 O Zion, that brings good tidings, go up into the high mountain; lift up thy voice with strength O bearer of good tidings of Jerusalem; lift [it] up, do not be afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
4 but because we have been approved of God that he might entrust us with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who tries our hearts.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city set upon a mountain cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on the lampstand, and it gives light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.
46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings and will not be ashamed.
19 and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that in this I may speak boldly as I ought to speak.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of the Christ; for it is [the] power of God [to give] saving health to every one that believes: to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled, and they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus.
38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.:
4 The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the wise that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary; he wakes up early, early shall he awaken [my] ear, that I might hear, as the wise.
7 But the LORD said unto me, Do not say, I [am] a child; for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
15 These things speak and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise thee.:
25 The fear of man brings a snare, but whosoever puts his trust in the LORD shall be lifted up.
12 and have your honest conversation among the Gentiles, so that, in that which they murmur about you as of evildoers, having witnessed [your] good works, they may glorify God in the day of visitation.
29 Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We must persuade God rather than men.
8 Therefore be not thou ashamed [to give] testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel by the power of God,
