28 So ought husbands to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it even as the Lord with his church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
26 My flesh and my heart fail; the strength of my heart [is] that God is my portion for ever.
7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.
1 Ye [are] the sons of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves nor make any baldness over your eyes for the dead.
2 For thou [art] a holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD has chosen thee to be a unique people unto himself from among all the peoples that [are] upon the face of the earth.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit [who is] in you, whom ye have of God, and that ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.:
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.:
10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart and put away evil from thy flesh; for childhood and youth [are] vanity.:
4 that every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honesty,
5 not with affection of lust, as the Gentiles who do not know God,
12 My son, in addition to this, be admonished: of making many books [there is] no end, and much study [is] a weariness of the flesh.
5 As thou dost not know what [is] the way of the spirit [nor] how the bones [grow] in the womb of her that is with child, even so thou dost not know the works of God who makes all.
2 Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every [man] have his own wife, and let every [woman] have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence, and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4 The wife does not have authority of her own body, but the husband; and likewise also the husband does not have authority of his own body, but the wife.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made; marvellous [are] thy works, and [that], my soul knows right well.
13 Foods [are] for the belly, and the belly for foods; but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
18 Flee fornication. Any [other] sin that a man does is outside the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his sides and closed up the flesh in its place;
22 and the LORD God built [that] which he had taken from the side of the man into a woman and brought her unto the man.
23 And the man said, This [is] now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body [were] an eye, where [would] the hearing [be]? If the whole [were] hearing, where [would] the smelling [be]?
18 But now God has set the members each one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where [would] the body [be]?
20 But now [they are] indeed many members, yet but one body.
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment?
29 Therefore if thy right eye should bring thee occasion to stumble, pluck it out and cast [it] from thee; for it is better for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand should bring thee occasion to stumble, cut it off, and cast [it] from thee: for it is better for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell.
