8 He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
9 He holds back the face of his throne [and] spreads his cloud upon it.
10 He has compassed the waters with bounds until the end of light and darkness.
26 And he said unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then, awake, he rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this that even the winds and the sea obey him!
30 Therefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed?
39 He spread a cloud for a covering and fire to give light in the night.
40 [The people] asked, and he brought quails and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places [and became] a river.
9 Thou dost rule the raging of the sea: when its waves arise, thou dost still them.
2 I will say of the LORD, [He is] my hope and my fortress: my God; in him will I secure myself.
1 To the Overcomer: for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in tribulation.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea,
3 [though] the waters thereof roar [and] be troubled, [though] the mountains shake with the violence thereof. Selah.
6 And there shall be a covert for a shadow in the daytime from the heat and for a place of refuge and for a shelter from storm and from rain.:
2 When thou dost pass through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou dost walk through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
4 The LORD on high [is] mightier than the noise of many waters, [yea], [than] the mighty waves of the sea.
18 [Jod] The LORD knows the days of the perfect, and their inheritance shall be for ever.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
35 Who shall separate us from the charity of Christ? [shall] tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword?
36 (As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)
37 Nevertheless, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 Therefore I am certain that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come
39 nor height nor depth nor any creature shall be able to separate us from the charity of God, which is in Christ, Jesus our Lord.:
4 For thou hast been strength to the poor, strength to the needy in his distress, refuge from the storm, shadow from the heat, for the force of the violent [is] as a storm [against] the wall.
8 [We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are unsure [of our lives], but not in despair;
9 persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
16 [And] the pitcher of meal was not consumed, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD which he spoke by Elijah.
7 The LORD [is] good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those that trust in him.
29 He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground; I will pour my spirit upon thy seed and my blessing upon thine offspring:
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
8 Wait in him at all times; [ye] peoples, pour out your heart before him; God [is] our refuge. Selah.
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred [and] sixty days.
9 The LORD also will be a refuge to the humble, a refuge for the time of trouble.
10 And those that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, O LORD, hast not forsaken those that seek thee.
25 [Nun] I have been young and [now] am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue; neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it comes.
