35 The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
14 The great day of the LORD [is] near, [it is] near, and hastens greatly, the bitter voice of the day of the LORD; the mighty man shall cry there.
15 That day [is] a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
16 A day of the shofar and alarm upon the strong cities, and upon the high towers.
17 And I will bring distress upon men that they shall walk like blind men because they have sinned against the LORD, and their blood shall be poured out as dust and their flesh as the dung.
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath, but the whole earth shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy; for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all those that dwell in the earth.:
7 but the heavens, which are now, and the earth are conserved by the same word, kept unto the fire in the day of judgment and of perdition of the ungodly men.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should take you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the sons of light, and the sons of the day; we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For those that sleep sleep in the night, and those that are drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and charity, and for a helmet, the hope of saving health.
9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain saving health by our Lord Jesus Christ,
12 And I saw when he had opened the sixth seal, and, behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 and the stars of heaven fell upon the earth, even as a fig tree casts her figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For ye know well that the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction shall come upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should take you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the sons of light, and the sons of the day; we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken,
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I, John, saw the holy city, [the] new Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven, prepared of God as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them [and be] their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and death shall be no more neither shall there be any more sorrow nor crying nor pain; for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that was seated upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are faithful and true.
36 Watch ye therefore and pray always that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of man.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, the serpent of old, who is called Devil and the Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel and with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the earth desolate; and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
36 But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not even the angels of the heavens, but my Father only.
11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness,
12 waiting for and desiring earnestly for the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
25 Then there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars, and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 men's hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements, burning, shall be dissolved, and the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.
32 But of that day and [that] hour no one knows, no, not even the angels who are in the heaven, neither the Son, but only the Father.
