8 He has declared unto thee, O man, what [is] good and what the LORD requires of thee: only to do [right] judgment, and to love mercy, and to humble thyself to walk with thy God.
14 if my people, upon whom my name is invoked, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from the heavens and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
48 and said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receives me, and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me; for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
18 Wives, be subject to your own husbands as it is fit in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love [your] wives and do not be bitter against them.
12 Before being broken, the heart of man is haughty, and before coming into honour, [comes] being brought to humility.
35 Then, sitting down, he called the twelve and said unto them, If anyone desires to be first, [the same] shall be last of all and servant of all.
4 Riches and honour and life [are] the remuneration of humility and of the fear of the LORD.
20 Now unto God and our Father [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time,
12 Clothed, therefore, (as the elect of God, holy and beloved) with bowels of mercies, with kindness, with humility, with meekness, with tolerance,
8 [Cheth] Good and upright [is] the LORD: therefore he will teach sinners in the way.
9 [Teth] He will cause the humble to pass through the judgment, and the meek he will teach his way.
3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory, but in humility let each esteem others better than themselves,
23 A man's pride shall bring him low, but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
16 [Be] unanimous among yourselves, not high minded, but accommodating the humble. Do not be wise in your [own] opinion.
2 [When] pride comes, then comes shame, but with the humble [is] wisdom.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
13 Who is wise and ready among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works in meekness of wisdom.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.:
28 and that which is vile of the world and that which is despised God has chosen, and things which are not, to bring to nought the things that are,
29 that no flesh should glory in his presence.
33 The fear of the LORD [is] the instruction of wisdom, and before honour [is] humility.:
2 with all humility and meekness, with tolerance, forbearing one another in love,
2 Therefore, when thou doest [thine] alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They [already] have their reward.
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only do not [use] liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by charity serve one another.
8 And finally, [be ye] all of one consent, of one affection, loving each other fraternally, merciful, courteous,
3 Let their adorning not be outward with ostentatious hairdos and wearing of gold nor in composition of apparel,
4 but [let] the interior adorning of the heart be without corruption, and of an agreeable spirit and peaceful, which is precious in the sight of God.
