19 We love him, because he first loved us.
9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor that ye through his poverty might be enriched.
8 The LORD [is] merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide, neither will he keep [his anger] for ever.
10 He has not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth [so] does he increase his mercy over those that fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far has he removed our rebellions from us.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
16 In this we have known the charity [of God] because he laid down his life for us; we also ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren.
38 Therefore I am certain that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come
39 nor height nor depth nor any creature shall be able to separate us from the charity of God, which is in Christ, Jesus our Lord.:
1 Be ye therefore imitators of God, as dear children
2 and walk in charity even as the Christ also has loved us and has given himself for us [as] an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.
35 Who shall separate us from the charity of Christ? [shall] tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword?
36 (As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)
37 Nevertheless, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
5 and from Jesus, the Christ, [who is] the faithful witness [and] the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins with his own blood
6 and has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
10 In this does the charity consist, not because we had loved God, but because he loved us and has sent his Son [to be] the reconciliation for our sins.
13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his soul for his friends.
1 Behold, what charity the Father has given us, that we should be called the sons of God; therefore the world does not know us, because it does not know him.
8 But God increased the price of his charity toward us in that while we were yet sinners the Christ died for us.
17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing, for God [is] my defence [and] the God of my mercy.:
