Maria
34 And Simeon blessed them and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this [child] is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel and for a sign which shall be spoken against
35 (yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
19 But Mary kept all these things, pondering [them] in her heart.
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee named Nazareth
27 to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David and the virgin's name [was] Mary.
28 And the angel came in unto her and said, Hail, [thou that art] highly favoured, the Lord [is] with thee; blessed [art] thou among women.
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? From where then does this [man] have all these things?
3 And being short of wine, the mother of Jesus said unto him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus said unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? My hour is not yet come.
5 His mother said unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do [it].
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed; and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? Behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? Knew ye not that it behooves me to be about my Father's business?
50 And they understood not the word which he spoke unto them.
51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was subject unto them, but his mother kept all these things in her heart.
31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
32 The multitude was sitting all around him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brothers [and sisters] seek thee without.
33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother or my brethren?
34 And looking round about on those who sat about him, he said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
35 For whosoever doeth the will of God, the same is my brother and my sister and my mother.:
46 Then Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord,
47 and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saving Health,
48 for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden; for, behold, from now on all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For he that is mighty has done great things unto me, and holy [is] his name.
50 And his mercy [is] on those that fear him from generation to generation.
51 He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He has put down the mighty from [their] thrones and exalted the humble.
53 He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away.
54 He has received his servant Israel in remembrance of [his] mercy
55 as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed forever.
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: That being, his mother Mary espoused to Joseph (before they came together) she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
30 Then the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and shalt call his name Jesus.
32 He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Highest, and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David;
33 and he shall reign in the house of Jacob for ever, and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judaea unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem (because he was of the house and family of David)
5 to be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was that while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
