19 God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent; he said and shall he not do [it]? He spoke and shall he not execute it?
1 Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, listening to spirits of error and doctrines of demons;
2 that in hypocrisy shall speak lies; having their conscience seared as with a hot iron;
3 they shall forbid to marry and shall command [men] to abstain from foods, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who are faithful and have known the truth.
16 These six [things] does the LORD hate: [yea], seven [are] an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 a false witness [that] speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren.
11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
7 He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight.
1 To the Overcomer, A Psalm of David. Do not hold thy peace, O God of my praise;
2 for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me; they have spoken of me with a lying tongue.
15 But outside [are] the dogs and the sorcerers and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and whosoever loves and makes a lie.
16 Thou shalt not give false testimony against thy neighbour.
22 Lying lips [are] abomination to the LORD: but the workers of the truth [are] his delight.
25 Therefore, leaving the lie, speak every man truth with his neighbour, for we are members one of another.
44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the desires of your father ye desire to do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.
9 Lie not one to another, putting off the old man with his deeds
10 and [being] clothed with the new [man], who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one that created him,
5 The true witness will not lie, but the false witness will utter lies.
13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth, for they shall be fed and lie down, and no one shall make [them] afraid.
7 Excellent speech is not suitable for a fool: much less lying lips for a prince!
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, boast not and do not be liars against the truth.
6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue [is] a vanity tossed to and fro of those that seek death.
