29 Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We must persuade God rather than men.
32 And we are his witnesses of these things, and [so is] also the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those that persuade him.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou may keep and do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way to prosper, and then thou shalt understand everything.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments;
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain; that whatever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it [unto] you.
1 Therefore, I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies in living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing unto God, [which is] your rational worship.
21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, [then] we have confidence in God;
22 and whatsoever we ask, we receive of him because we keep his commandments and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
19 For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
3 Keep the charge of the LORD thy God, walking in his ways, keeping his statutes and his commandments and his rights and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou may have understanding in all that thou doest and in everything that thou dost undertake,
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, He who loves me will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him.
58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.:
33 Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you that ye may live and [that it may be] well with you and [that] ye may prolong [your] days in the land which ye are to inherit.:
17 He [is in] the way of life that gives heed to chastening, but he that refuses reproof errs.
44 As soon as they heard of me, they obeyed me: the sons of strangers submitted themselves unto me even [against their will].
14 as obedient sons, not conforming yourselves with the former desires that you had before in your ignorance,
32 that I may come unto you with joy by the will of God and may be refreshed together with you.
20 Moreover the law entered that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound,
11 not slothful in earnest care, [but] fervent in [the] Spirit, serving the Lord,
14 For all that are led by the Spirit of God, the same are sons of God.
23 And he said to [them] all, If anyone will come after me, let them deny themself and take up their stake daily and follow me.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
1 Let every soul submit itself to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God, and the powers that be are ordained of God.
7 Submit yourselves, therefore, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
22 And Samuel said, Does the LORD have [as great] delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in hearing the voice of the LORD? Behold, to hear [is] better than sacrifice [and] to hearken than the fat of rams.
3 For this is the charity of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous.
11 and [that] every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is Lord in the glory of God the Father.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
20 My son, keep thy father's commandment and forsake not the law of thy mother:
29 O that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always that it might be well with them and with their children for ever!
2 And be not conformed to this age, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your soul that ye may experience what [is] that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou may keep and do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way to prosper, and then thou shalt understand everything.
8 although he was the Son [of God], yet he learned obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal saving health unto all those that hearken unto him,
2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay [it] to heart, to give glory unto my name, said the LORD of the hosts, I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; yea, I have cursed them already because ye do not lay [it] to heart.
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy strength and with all thy understanding, and thy neighbour as thyself.
1 And it shall come to pass if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God to keep [and] to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all the Gentiles of the earth;
46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
19 Whosoever therefore shall undo one of these least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens.
1 Let every soul submit itself to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God, and the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God, and those that resist shall receive condemnation to themselves.
27 But I say unto you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
28 bless those that curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you.
