8 Cause me to hear thy mercy in the morning, for in thee do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto thee.
9 [He] who has ears to hear, let him hear.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word and believes him that sent me has eternal life and shall not come into judgment but has passed from death unto life.
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour shall come, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live.
21 And if ye walk contrary unto me and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
9 He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.
9 And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.
19 Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;
15 Therefore if thy brother shall sin against thee, go and reprove him between thee and him alone; if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear [thee, then] take with thee one or two more that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell [it] unto the church; but if he neglects to hear the church, let him be unto thee as a worldly man and a publican.
20 He who has understanding in the word shall find good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD.
15 [Samech] The eyes of the LORD [are] upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their cry.
15 Therefore if thy brother shall sin against thee, go and reprove him between thee and him alone; if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: He that hears, let him hear, and he that forbears; let him forbear: for they [are] a rebellious house.:
15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we also know that we have the petitions that we asked of him.
20 Behold, I stand at the door and call; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me.
11 Behold, [the] days come, said the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine to the earth, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing [the] words of the LORD:
20 My son, keep thy father's commandment and forsake not the law of thy mother:
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which says, By hearing ye shall hear and shall not understand, and seeing ye shall see and shall not perceive;
15 for this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes and hear with [their] ears and should understand with [their] heart and should be converted, and I should heal them.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
17 So then faith [comes] by hearing, and [the] ear [to hear] by the word of God.
28 But he said, Rather, blessed [are] those that hear the word of God and keep it.
14 And this is the confidence that we have in God, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us:
9 Those things, which ye have both learned and received and heard and seen in me, do, and the God of peace shall be with you.
3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; early [will I] present myself unto thee and wait.
2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay [it] to heart, to give glory unto my name, said the LORD of the hosts, I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; yea, I have cursed them already because ye do not lay [it] to heart.
8 All things [are] full of labour; more [than] man can express; the eye is not satisfied with seeing nor the ear filled with hearing.
24 Therefore, whosoever hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him unto a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock;
5 He therefore that gives unto you the Spirit and does works of power among you, [does he do it] by the works of the law or by the [obedient] ear of faith?
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
13 [For] him that answers a word before he hears, it [is] folly and reproach unto him.
28 But he said, Rather, blessed [are] those that hear the word of God and keep it.
20 Behold, I stand at the door and call; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me.
12 Then ye shall call upon me, and ye shall walk [in my ways] and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness [that] the bones [which] thou hast broken may rejoice.
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee and show thee great and difficult things, which thou dost not know.
17 So then faith [comes] by hearing, and [the] ear [to hear] by the word of God.
4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God and fear him and keep his commandments and hear his voice, and ye shall serve him and cleave unto him.
25 But at midnight as Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God, and the prisoners heard them,
9 And Joshua said unto the sons of Israel, Draw near and hear the words of the LORD your God.
3 Therefore whatever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light, and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
24 Therefore, whosoever hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him unto a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock;
25 and the rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that hears these words of mine and does not do them shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand;
27 and the rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.
1 I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice [and] my supplications.
2 Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore I will call upon [him] all of my days.
19 Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;
20 for the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.
5 [It is] better to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools.
1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
17 He [is in] the way of life that gives heed to chastening, but he that refuses reproof errs.
6 In my distress I called upon the LORD and cried unto my God; he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, [even] into his ears.
