Santidade

3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you as becomes saints,

14 Follow peace with everyone and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord:

15 but as he who has called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 for it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you as becomes saints,

9 who has saved us and called [us] with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the times of the ages,

14 Seek that which is good, and not that which is evil that ye may live; and so the LORD, the God of the hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.

3 For the will of God is your sanctification, that ye should separate [yourselves] from fornication,

4 that every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honesty,

5 not with affection of lust, as the Gentiles who do not know God,

6 That no one oppress and defraud his brother in [any] matter because the Lord [is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

7 For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto sanctification.

4 according as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in charity;

22 that ye put off [everything] concerning the old way of life, [that is], the old man who corrupts himself according to deceitful desires,

23 and be renewed in the spirit of your understanding

24 and that ye put on the new man, which is created in conformity to God in righteousness and in the holiness of the truth.

10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my thoughts

24 and see if [there be any] wicked way in me, and lead me in the way eternal.:

3 But thou [art] holy, O [thou] that inhabitest [in the midst of] the praises of Israel.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father who is in the heavens is perfect.:

25 [It is] a snare unto man [to] devour [that which is] holy and afterward to reconsider his vows.

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you?

26 Ye must, therefore, be holy unto me, for I the LORD [am] holy and have separated you from the [other] peoples, that ye should be mine.

23 And I will be magnified and sanctified, and I will be known in the eyes of many Gentiles, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.:

1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

17 Sanctify them in thy truth; thy word is [the] truth.

15 but as he who has called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 for it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

16 No one when they have lighted a lamp cover it with a vessel or put [it] under a bed, but set [it] on a candlestick, that those who enter in may see the light.

9 BETH. With what shall a young man cleanse his way? when he shall keep thy word.

22 But now freed from sin and made servants to God, ye have as your fruit sanctification and as the end, everlasting life.

1 [A Psalm] of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, [bless] the name of his holiness.

1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

26 Ye must, therefore, be holy unto me, for I the LORD [am] holy and have separated you from the [other] peoples, that ye should be mine.

7 Sanctify yourselves, therefore, and be ye holy, for I [am] the LORD your God.

17 And I beseech you, brethren, mark those who cause dissensions and offences outside of the doctrine which ye have learned, and avoid them.

2 unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to those that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called [to be] holy, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

21 And you, that were in another time alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now he has reconciled [you]

22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblamable and unreproveable in his sight

23 if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled and [are] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard [and] which is preached to every creature which is under heaven, of which I Paul am made a minister,

4 Sing unto God, sing psalms unto his name; extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name JAH and rejoice before him.

5 A father of the fatherless and a defender of the widows [is] God in his holy habitation.

14 Follow peace with everyone and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord:

19 I speak a human thing because of the weakness of our flesh: that as ye presented your members to serve uncleanness and iniquity unto iniquity, likewise now present your members to serve righteousness unto holiness.

2 [There is] none holy as the LORD, for [there is] none beside thee; neither [is there] any strong One like our God.

23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the Gentiles, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the Gentiles shall know that I [am] the LORD, said the Lord GOD when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

1 Therefore, I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies in living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing unto God, [which is] your rational worship.

15 For thus has said the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name [is] The Holy [One]; I dwell in the high place and in holiness and with him also [that is] of a contrite and humble spirit to cause the spirit of the humble to live and to cause the heart of the contrite ones to live.

1 Therefore if [there is] any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of charity, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

2 fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same charity, unanimous, minding the one thing.

3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory, but in humility let each esteem others better than themselves,

4 [with] each one not looking to their own things, but also to the things of others.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,

6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God,

7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, made in the likeness of men,

8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the stake.

9 Therefore, God also has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven and [things] in earth and [things] under the earth,

11 and [that] every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is Lord in the glory of God the Father.

12 Therefore, my beloved, as ye have always hearkened, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own saving health with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and doubts,

15 that ye may be blameless and innocent, children of God without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world,

16 holding fast the word of life, that I may glory in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

17 And even if I am poured out as an offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy and rejoice with you all.

18 For the same cause ye also have joy and rejoice with me.

19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort when I know your state.

20 For I have no one likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.

21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

22 But ye know the proof of him, that as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.

23 Therefore, I hope to send him presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.

24 But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.

25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and companion in labour and fellowsoldier, but your messenger and he that ministered to my needs.

26 For he longed after you all and was full of heaviness, because ye had heard that he had been sick

27 For indeed he was sick near unto death, but God had mercy on him and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

28 I sent him, therefore, the more carefully, that when ye see him again, ye may rejoice and that I may be the less sorrowful.

29 Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness and esteem such

30 because for the work of the Christ he was near unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.:
