10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and [yet] possessing all things.
1 (The parables of Solomon.) A wise son makes a glad father; but a foolish son [is] sadness unto his mother.
9 Lord, all my desire [is] before thee, and my groaning is not hid from thee.
12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn unto me with all your heart and with fasting and with weeping, and with mourning:
15 Rejoice with those that rejoice and weep with those that weep.
17 [Pe] [The righteous] cried out, and the LORD heard and delivered them out of all their troubles.
18 [Tzaddi] The LORD [is] near unto those that are of a broken heart and saves such as are of a contrite spirit.
18 For in much wisdom [is] much grief, and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow.:
16 They shall hunger no more neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun be thrust upon them nor any other heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall govern them and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.:
20 Then Job arose and rent his mantle and shaved his head and fell down upon the ground and worshipped
21 and said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them [and be] their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and death shall be no more neither shall there be any more sorrow nor crying nor pain; for the former things are passed away.
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God with which ye are sealed for the day of redemption.
8 And the LORD is he that doth go before thee; he will be with thee; he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee; fear not, neither be dismayed.
12 The vine has dried up, and the fig tree has perished; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, [even] all the trees of the field, have withered: therefore joy has withered away from the sons of men.
7 casting all your cares upon him, for he cares for you.
8 The LORD opens [the eyes of] the blind; the LORD raises those that are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous:
10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart and put away evil from thy flesh; for childhood and youth [are] vanity.:
5 Turn again and tell Hezekiah, prince of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David, thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears; behold, I will heal thee; on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.
4 Blessed [are] those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5 For his anger [endures but] a moment; in his will is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy [comes] in the morning.
