11 Likewise also reckon yourselves to be truly dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ, Jesus, our Lord.
3 Know ye not that all of us that are baptized into Jesus the Christ are baptized into his death?
4 For we are buried with him by baptism into death, that just as the Christ was raised up from the dead to the glory of the Father, likewise we also walk in newness of life.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy saving health, and [thy] spirit of liberty shall uphold me.
25 And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be cleansed from all your filthiness, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.
26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my commandments, and ye shall keep my rights, and do [them].
8 But now let ye also put off all these things: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, putting off the old man with his deeds
10 and [being] clothed with the new [man], who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one that created him,
3 among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind and were by nature the children of wrath, even as [all] the others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great charity with which he loved us,
5 even as we were dead in sins, he has made us alive together with the Christ (by [whose] grace ye are saved)
17 Therefore if anyone [is] in Christ, [they are] a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are made new.
20 I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
22 that ye put off [everything] concerning the old way of life, [that is], the old man who corrupts himself according to deceitful desires,
23 and be renewed in the spirit of your understanding
24 and that ye put on the new man, which is created in conformity to God in righteousness and in the holiness of the truth.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
5 For if we have been planted together [in him] in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection,
6 knowing this: that our old man is crucified with [him] that the body of sin might be destroyed that we should not serve sin any longer.
7 For he that is dead is justified from sin.
