8 Na te aroha noa hoki koutou i whakaorangia ai i runga i te whakapono; ehara ano hoki tenei i te mea no koutou: he mea homai noa na te Atua:

9 Ehara i nga mahi, kei whakamanamana te tangata.

8 for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not of works, that no man should glory.
