28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
26 My flesh and my heart fails: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
12 And further, my son, be admonished by these: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
1 You are the children of the LORD your God: you shall not cut yourselves, nor make any bald place on your foreheads for the dead.
2 For you are a holy people unto the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
14 I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are your works; and that my soul knows right well.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?
18 But now has God set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where would be the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render unto the wife her due: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4 The wife has not power over her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband has not power over his own body, but the wife.
13 Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
5 As you know not what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so you know not the works of God who makes all.
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing?
10 Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
19 What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have of God, and you are not your own?
20 For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor;
5 Not in the lust of passion, even as the Gentiles who know not God:
29 And if your right eye causes you to offend, pluck it out, and cast it from you: for it is better for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if your right hand causes you to offend, cut it off, and cast it from you: for it is better for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up its place with flesh;
22 And from the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
