8 Finally, be all of one mind, having compassion one with another, love as brethren, be tender hearted, be courteous:
12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honor is humility.
14 If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.
18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and said unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.
4 By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honor, and life.
13 For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9 The meek will he guide in justice: and the meek will he teach his way.
20 Now unto God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
2 When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good life his works with meekness of wisdom.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honor is humility.
48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receives me: and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
8 He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
2 Therefore when you give your alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
