13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good life his works with meekness of wisdom.
18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
2 For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
13 Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding.
15 See then that you walk carefully, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
37 Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and deity; so that they are without excuse:
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.
8 He that gets wisdom loves his own soul: he that keeps understanding shall find good.
17 Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
24 Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock:
28 Even a fool, when he holds his peace, is counted wise: and he that shuts his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
5 A fool despises his father's instruction: but he that regards reproof is prudent.
12 A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.
