8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with my eye.
8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before my face.
11 You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
11 And the LORD shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones: and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
10 Say you not, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for you do not inquire wisely concerning this.
13 Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding.
1 Boast not yourself of tomorrow; for you know not what a day may bring forth.
28 Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
18 Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.
20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days.
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to contradict nor resist.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, in which they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
3 Yea, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding;
5 Then shall you understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
35 For whosoever finds me finds life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD.
5 Evil men understand not justice: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
13 With him is wisdom and strength, he has counsel and understanding.
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him.
2 When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
1 Then Job answered and said,
2 I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just before God?
3 If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him, and has prospered?
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
13 Man knows not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
14 The deep says, It is not in me: and the sea says, It is not with me.
15 It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.
16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of crystal: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
20 From where then comes wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and concealed from the fowls of the air.
22 Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame of it with our ears.
34 Take therefore no thought for tomorrow: for tomorrow shall take thought of the things for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
17 As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
4 The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he awakens morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear as the learned.
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.
15 See then that you walk carefully, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and rely on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
2 Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.
33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honor is humility.
8 He that gets wisdom loves his own soul: he that keeps understanding shall find good.
5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
15 See then that you walk carefully, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 Only by pride comes strife: but with the well advised is wisdom.
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
19 The LORD by wisdom has founded the earth; by understanding has he established the heavens.
8 He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
29 This also comes forth from the LORD of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
12 For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense: but the excellence of knowledge is, that wisdom gives life to them that have it.
18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice wage war.
28 Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
4 Show me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.
5 Lead me in your truth, and teach me: for you are the God of my salvation; on you do I wait all the day.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.
7 Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice.
12 He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens at his discretion.
23 I thank you, and praise you, O God of my fathers, who has given me wisdom and might, and has made known unto me now what we desired of you: for you have now made known unto us the king's matter.
1 The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24 But unto them who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
23 And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24 Knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ.
3 He that keeps his mouth keeps his life: but he that opens wide his lips shall have destruction.
15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkens unto counsel is wise.
6 For by wise counsel you shall wage your war: and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.
27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.
5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are outsiders, redeeming the time.
6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man.
16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
9 The meek will he guide in justice: and the meek will he teach his way.
23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.
28 Even a fool, when he holds his peace, is counted wise: and he that shuts his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
2 A fool has no delight in understanding, but that his heart may express itself.
10 Whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you go.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.
8 Cause me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning; for in you do I trust: cause me to know the way in which I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto you.
20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days.
20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.
24 O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches.
11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a level path, because of my enemies.
6 And said to the judges, Take heed what you do: for you judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.
8 The wise in heart will heed commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are outsiders, redeeming the time.
6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
26 For God gives to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he gives the work of gathering and heaping up, only that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping of the wind.
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him.
15 The heart of the prudent gets knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
105 Nun Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
105 Nun Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
24 You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
22 When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you awake, it shall talk with you.
130 The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
14 Whereas you know not what shall be tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.
5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
24 Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock:
4 Delight yourself also in the LORD; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.
29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalts folly.
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him.
6 But we speak wisdom among them that are mature: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nothing:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
10 Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11 Revive me, O LORD, for your name's sake: for your righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good life his works with meekness of wisdom.
9 A man's heart plans his way: but the LORD directs his steps.
16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
