1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. 2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. 3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. 4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts. 5 And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up. 6 And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither. 7 The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more. 8 The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. 9 Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded. 10 And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.

11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? 12 Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt. 13 The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof. 14 The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit. 15 Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do. 16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction. 19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. 20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. 21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it. 22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. 24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: 25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

1 关于埃及的默示： 看哪！ 耶和华驾着轻快的云， 来到埃及； 埃及的偶像在他面前战兢， 埃及人的心都惊怕。

2 我要激动埃及人去攻击埃及人， 他们就相争起来， 各人攻击自己的兄弟， 各人攻击自己的邻舍， 城攻击城； 国攻击国。

3 埃及人的意志必消沉， 我要破坏他们的计谋； 他们必求问偶像、念咒的、交鬼的和行巫术的。

4 我必把埃及人交在残暴的主人手中； 凶猛的君王要管辖他们； 这是主万军之耶和华说的。

5 海中的众水必干透， 河床必枯竭干涸。

6 河道必发臭， 埃及众河流的水必消退干涸； 苇子和芦荻都必枯萎。

7 尼罗河旁、尼罗河口的草田， 以及沿着尼罗河所种的田都必枯干， 被吹散， 不再存在。

8 打鱼的人必哀号； 所有在尼罗河上垂钓的必悲伤； 那些在水面上撒网的， 必灰心难过。

9 那些用梳好的麻来纺纱的， 和那些织白布的， 都必羞愧。

10 埃及的柱石必被打碎， 所有受雇的工人也必心里忧愁。

11 琐安的领袖非常愚昧， 法老那些最有智慧的谋士所筹算的， 都成为愚昧。你们怎能对法老说： "我是智慧人的儿子， 是古代君王的后裔"呢？

12 你的智慧人在哪里呢？万军之耶和华向埃及所定的旨意是怎样的？就让他们告诉你， 使你知道吧！

13 琐安的领袖都变为愚昧， 挪弗的领袖都受了欺骗； 那些在埃及支派中作房角石的， 使埃及人走错了路。

14 耶和华让歪曲的灵搀入埃及当中， 以致他们使埃及一切所作的都有谬误， 好像醉酒的人呕吐的时候， 东倒西歪一样。

15 无论是头或尾、棕枝或芦苇所作的， 都不能为埃及成就什么事。

16 到那日， 埃及人必像妇人一样。他们必因万军之耶和华在埃及之上挥手而战兢恐惧。

17 犹大地必使埃及惊恐； 无论谁向埃及人提起犹大地， 他们都惧怕， 因为这是万军之耶和华向埃及所定的旨意。

18 到那日， 埃及地必有五座城的人说迦南的方言， 又指着万军之耶和华起誓， 必有一座城称为"毁灭城"（"毁灭城"或译： "太阳城"）。

19 到那日， 在埃及地必有一座献给耶和华的祭坛； 在埃及的边界上必有一根献给耶和华的柱子。

20 这都要在埃及地作万军之耶和华的记号和证据。埃及人因受人欺压向耶和华哀求的时候， 他就差派一位拯救者和维护者到他们那里， 他必拯救他们。

21 耶和华必被埃及人认识。到那日， 埃及人必认识耶和华； 他们也要用祭物和供物来敬拜他， 并且向耶和华许愿、还愿。

22 耶和华必击打埃及， 既击打、又医治， 他们就回转归向耶和华， 他必应允他们的祷告， 医治他们。

23 到那日， 必有一条从埃及通到亚述的大道； 亚述人要进到埃及， 埃及人也要进入亚述； 埃及人要与亚述人一同敬拜耶和华。

24 到那日， 以色列必与埃及和亚述一起成为地上列国的祝福。

25 万军之耶和华赐福给他们， 说： "我的子民埃及， 我手的工程亚述， 我的产业以色列， 都是有福的！ "
