Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. 2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me; 3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified. 4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God. 
And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength. 6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. 
Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee. 8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; 9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. 10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them. 11 And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted. 12 Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim. 
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. 14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. 15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. 16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. 17 Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee. 
Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth. 19 For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away. 20 The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell. 21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been? 22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. 23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me. 
Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? 25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. 26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

众海岛啊！ 你们要听我的话。远方的万族啊！ 你们要留心听。我在母胎的时候， 耶和华就呼召了我； 我出母腹的时候， 他就提了我的名。

"你作我的仆人， 使雅各众支派复兴， 使以色列中得保全的归回， 只是小事， 我还要使你作列国的光， 使我的救恩传到地极。" 
以色列的救赎主， 以色列的圣者耶和华， 对那被人藐视的、被本国憎恶的、被统治者奴役的， 这样说： "君王看见了， 就必起立， 领袖看见了， 也要下拜， 都因信实的耶和华， 就是拣选了你的、以色列的圣者的缘故。" 
耶和华这样说： "在悦纳的时候， 我应允了你， 在拯救的日子， 我帮助了你； 我要保护你， 使你作人民的中保， 复兴那地， 使人承受荒凉之地作产业， 
对那些被囚的说： ‘你们出来吧！ ’对那些在黑暗中的人说： ‘你们现身吧！ ’他们沿途必得喂养， 一切光秃的高处必成为他们的草场。 
他们必不饥饿， 也不口渴， 炎热和太阳必不伤害他们， 因为那怜悯他们的， 要引领他们， 带领他们到水泉的旁边。 
我必使我的众山成为道路， 我的大道都必被修高。 
看哪！ 有些人从远方而来； 看哪！ 有些从北方， 从西方而来， 还有些从色尼姆地而来。" 
诸天哪！ 你们要欢呼。大地啊！ 你当快乐。众山啊！ 你们要发声欢呼。因为耶和华已经安慰了他的子民， 也必怜悯他受困苦的人。 
但锡安说： "耶和华离弃了我， 我的主忘记了我。" 
妇人怎能忘记她吃奶的婴孩， 不怜悯她亲生的儿子呢？即使她们可能忘记， 我也不会忘记你。 
看哪！ 我已经把你刻在我的掌上； 你的城墙常常在我面前。 
重建你的要急速归回， 那些毁坏你的和那些使你荒废的， 都必离你而去。 
你举目向四周观看吧！ 他们都集合到你那里来。耶和华说： "我指着我的永生起誓， 你要披戴他们， 如同披戴装饰品； 你要以他们作华带束腰， 像新妇一样。 
至于你那些被毁坏荒废之处和你那些被拆毁之地， 现在给众人居住必显为太狭窄了， 那些吞灭你的都必远离你。 
你丧子以后所生的儿女还要说给你听， 说： ‘这地方给我居住太狭窄了； 求你给我预备地方居住吧！ ’ 
那时你心里必说： ‘我既丧子， 又不能生育； 我是被掳的， 又是被放逐在外的， 谁给我生了这些孩子呢？谁把这些孩子养大呢？看哪！ 我独自一人被撇下， 这些孩子是从哪里来的呢？’" 
主耶和华这样说： "看哪！ 我必向列国举手， 我要向万民竖立我的旗帜； 他们要把你的儿子都抱在怀中带来， 把你的女儿都放在肩上背来。 
列国的君王要作你的养父， 他们的王后必作你的保姆； 他们必脸伏于地向你下拜， 舐你脚上的尘土。那么， 你就知道我是耶和华， 那些仰望我的决不会羞愧。" 
被抢去的怎能从勇士手中夺回呢？被俘掳的怎能从强暴者的手里救出来呢？ 
但耶和华这样说： "就是勇士所俘掳的， 也可以夺回， 强暴者所抢去的， 也可以救出来； 与你相争的， 我必与他们相争； 你的儿女， 我却要拯救。 
我要使那些欺压你的人， 吃自己的肉； 他们必喝自己的血醉倒， 好像喝了甜酒一样； 那么所有的人都必知道， 我耶和华是你的拯救者， 是你的救赎主， 是雅各的大能者。"
