1 Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away. 2 Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst. 3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.

4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. 6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. 8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. 9 Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

10 Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God. 11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

1 耶和华这样说： "我离弃了你们的母亲， 休书在哪里呢？或者我的债主中， 哪一个是我把你们卖了给他的呢？看哪！ 你们被卖是因你们的罪孽； 你们的母亲被离弃是因你们的过犯。

2 为什么我来的时候， 没有人在呢？为什么我呼唤的时候， 没有人答应呢？难道我的手太软弱不能救赎吗？或是我没有能力拯救吗？看哪！ 我以斥责使海干涸， 我使江河变成旷野， 江河的鱼因无水发臭， 因干渴而死。

3 我使诸天以黑暗为衣服， 以麻布作它们的遮盖。"

4 主耶和华赐给了我一个受教者的舌头， 使我知道怎样用言语扶助疲乏的人； 主每天清晨唤醒我， 他每天清晨唤醒我的耳朵， 使我能像受教者一样静听。

5 主耶和华开启了我的耳朵， 我并没有违抗， 也没有后退。

6 我把我的背给打我的人打， 把我的腮颊给拔我胡须的人拔； 我并没有掩面躲避人的羞辱和人的唾液。

7 但主耶和华必帮助我， 所以我必不羞愧， 因此我板着脸好像坚硬的燧石， 我也知道我必不会蒙羞。

8 那称我为义的， 与我相近； 谁与我争讼呢？让我们一同站起来吧！ 谁是指控我的？让他就近我来。

9 看哪！ 主耶和华帮助我， 谁能定我有罪呢？看哪！ 他们都要像衣服渐渐破旧， 蛀虫必把他们吃光。

10 你们中间谁是敬畏耶和华， 听从他仆人的声音的？谁是行在黑暗中， 没有亮光的呢？他该倚靠耶和华的名， 依赖他的 神。

11 看哪！ 你们点火的， 用火把围绕自己的， 都行在你们火焰的光里， 都走在你们所燃点的火把中吧！ 这是你们从我手里所要得的： 你们必躺卧在痛苦之中。
