16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

16 Va, rassemble tous les Juifs qui se trouvent à Suse, et jeûnez pour moi, sans manger ni boire pendant trois jours, ni la nuit ni le jour. Moi aussi, je jeûnerai de même avec mes servantes, puis j'entrerai chez le roi, malgré la loi; et si je dois périr, je périrai.

16 "Va, raduna tutti i Giudei che si trovano a Susa, e digiunate per me; state senza mangiare e senza bere per tre giorni, notte e giorno. Anchio con le mie donzelle digiunerò nello stesso modo; e dopo entrerò dal re, quantunque ciò sia contro la legge; e, sio debbo perire, chio perisca!"
