3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 13 Thou shalt not kill. 14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 15 Thou shalt not steal. 16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

3 Tu n'auras pas d'autres dieux devant ma face.

4 Tu ne te feras point d'image taillée, ni de représentation quelconque des choses qui sont en haut dans les cieux, qui sont en bas sur la terre, et qui sont dans les eaux plus bas que la terre.

5 Tu ne te prosterneras point devant elles, et tu ne les serviras point; car moi, l'Eternel, ton Dieu, je suis un Dieu jaloux, qui punis l'iniquité des pères sur les enfants jusqu'à la troisième et la quatrième génération de ceux qui me haïssent,

6 et qui fais miséricorde jusqu'en mille générations à ceux qui m'aiment et qui gardent mes commandements.

7 Tu ne prendras point le nom de l'Eternel, ton Dieu, en vain; car l'Eternel ne laissera point impuni celui qui prendra son nom en vain.

8 Souviens-toi du jour du repos, pour le sanctifier.

9 Tu travailleras six jours, et tu feras tout ton ouvrage.

10 Mais le septième jour est le jour du repos de l'Eternel, ton Dieu: tu ne feras aucun ouvrage, ni toi, ni ton fils, ni ta fille, ni ton serviteur, ni ta servante, ni ton bétail, ni l'étranger qui est dans tes portes.

11 Car en six jours l'Eternel a fait les cieux, la terre et la mer, et tout ce qui y est contenu, et il s'est reposé le septième jour: c'est pourquoi l'Eternel a béni le jour du repos et l'a sanctifié.

12 Honore ton père et ta mère, afin que tes jours se prolongent dans le pays que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, te donne.

13 Tu ne tueras point.

14 Tu ne commettras point d'adultère.

15 Tu ne déroberas point.

16 Tu ne porteras point de faux témoignage contre ton prochain.

17 Tu ne convoiteras point la maison de ton prochain; tu ne convoiteras point la femme de ton prochain, ni son serviteur, ni sa servante, ni son boeuf, ni son âne, ni aucune chose qui appartienne à ton prochain.

3 Non avere altri dii nel mio cospetto.

4 Non ti fare scultura alcuna né immagine alcuna delle cose che sono lassù ne cieli o quaggiù sulla terra o nelle acque sotto la terra;

5 non ti prostrare dinanzi a tali cose e non servir loro, perché io, lEterno, lIddio tuo, sono un Dio geloso che punisco liniquità dei padri sui figliuoli fino alla terza e alla quarta generazione di quelli che mi odiano,

6 e uso benignità, fino alla millesima generazione, verso quelli che mamano e osservano i miei comandamenti.

7 Non usare il nome dellEterno, chè lIddio tuo, in vano; perché lEterno non terra per innocente chi avrà usato il suo nome in vano.

8 Ricordati del giorno del riposo per santificarlo.

9 Lavora sei giorni e fa in essi ogni opera tua;

10 ma il settimo è giorno di riposo, sacro allEterno, chè lIddio tuo; non fare in esso lavoro alcuno, né tu, né il tuo figliuolo, né la tua figliuola, né il tuo servo, né la tua serva, né il tuo bestiame, né il forestiero chè dentro alle tue porte;

11 poiché in sei giorni lEterno fece i cieli, la terra, il mare e tutto ciò chè in essi, e si riposò il settimo giorno; perciò lEterno ha benedetto il giorno del riposo e lha santificato.

12 Onora tuo padre e tua madre, affinché i tuoi giorni siano prolungati sulla terra che lEterno, lIddio tuo, ti dà.

13 Non uccidere.

14 Non commettere adulterio.

15 Non rubare.

16 Non attestare il falso contro il tuo prossimo.

17 Non concupire la casa del tuo prossimo; non concupire la moglie del tuo prossimo, né il suo servo, né la sua serva, né il suo bue, né il suo asino, né cosa alcuna che sia dei tuo prossimo".
