1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

2 L'Eternel étendra de Sion le sceptre de ta puissance: Domine au milieu de tes ennemis!

3 Ton peuple est plein d'ardeur, quand tu rassembles ton armée; Avec des ornements sacrés, du sein de l'aurore Ta jeunesse vient à toi comme une rosée.

4 L'Eternel l'a juré, et il ne s'en repentira point: Tu es sacrificateur pour toujours, A la manière de Melchisédek.

5 Le Seigneur, à ta droite, Brise des rois au jour de sa colère.

6 Il exerce la justice parmi les nations: tout est plein de cadavres; Il brise des têtes sur toute l'étendue du pays.

3 Il tuo popolo s’offre volenteroso nel giorno che raduni il tuo esercito. Parata di santità, dal seno dell’alba, la tua gioventù viene a te come la rugiada.

4 L’Eterno l’ha giurato e non si pentirà: Tu sei sacerdote in eterno, secondo l’ordine di Melchisedec.

5 Il Signore, alla tua destra, schiaccerà dei re nel giorno della sua ira,

6 eserciterà il giudizio fra le nazioni, riempirà ogni luogo di cadaveri,

7 schiaccerà il capo ai nemici sopra un vasto paese; berrà dal torrente per via, e perciò alzerà il capo.
