50 This is my comfort in my affliction, that thy promise hath revived me.
1 It is lovely to me that the Lord heareth my voice, my supplications.
2 For he hath inclined his ear unto me: therefore throughout all my days will I call on him.
22 (55:23) Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he will sustain thee: he will never suffer the righteous to be moved.
9 (9:10) The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of distress.
8 And the Lord it is that goeth before thee; he will be with thee, he will not let thee fail, nor will he forsake thee: fear not, nor be thou discouraged.
5 (30:6) For his anger is momentary, but life is in his favor: in the evening cometh weeping to stay for a night, but in the morning, there is joyful song.
24 (22:25) For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the poor; neither hath he hidden his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
11 For I alone know the thoughts that I entertain respecting you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a happy future and hope.
20 Thou, who hast shown me great distresses and misfortunes, wilt again revive me; and from the depths of the earth wilt thou bring me up again.
21 Thou wilt increase my greatness, and wilt turn round and comfort me.
4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that I will seek for: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the loveliness of the Lord, and to be every morning early in his temple.
5 For he will hide me in his pavilion on the day of evil; he will conceal me in the secret of his tabernacle; upon a rock will he place me high.
7 The Lord is good, a stronghold on the day of distress; and he knoweth those that trust in him.

52 I remembered thy decrees which were from olden times, O Lord, and thus comforted myself.
