22 A merry heart causeth a healthy appearance of the countenance, but a depressed spirit drieth up the bones.
3 He was despised and shunned by men; a man of pains, and acquainted with disease; and as one who hid his face from us was he despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 But only our diseases did he bear himself, and our pains he carried: while we indeed esteemed him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
26 And he said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his eyes, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and wilt keep all his statutes: I will put none of those diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I the Lord am thy physician.
4 But only our diseases did he bear himself, and our pains he carried: while we indeed esteemed him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
14 The spirit of a man will readily bear his disease; but a depressed spirit who can bear:
25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will remove sickness from the midst of thee.
12 Expectation long deferred maketh the heart sick; but a tree of life is a desire which is fulfilled.
14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed: save me, and I shall be saved; for my praise art thou.
3 He that healeth the brokenhearted, and bindeth up their hurts;
3 Who forgiveth all thy iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
1 To the chief musician, a psalm of David.(41:2) Happy is he that careth for the poor: on the day of evil will the Lord deliver him.
2 (41:3) The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; he shall be made happy on the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the revengeful desire of his enemies.
3 (41:4) The Lord will sustain him upon the bed of painful disease: thou changest all his couch in his sickness.
25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will remove sickness from the midst of thee.
8 The Lord causeth the blind to see; the Lord raiseth up those who are bowed down; the Lord loveth the righteous:
3 When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my crying all the day.
