20 who formerly were disobedient, when the patience of God once waited, in the days of Noah, while an ark was preparing, in which few, that is, eight souls, were effectually saved through water-
21 the antitype, immersion, does, also, now save us, (not putting away the filth of the flesh; but seeking of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
22 who, having gone into heaven, is at the right hand of God; angels, and authorities, and powers, being subjected to him.
37 Now that which happened in Noah's time, will also happen at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For as in the days before the flood, even to that day that Noah entered the ark, they were eating and drinking, and marrying,
39 and suspected nothing, until the flood came and swept them all away: so shall it also be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two men shall be in the field; one shall be taken, and one shall be left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; one shall be taken, and one shall be left.
7 By faith, Noah, when he received a revelation concerning things not yet seen, being seized with religious fear, prepared an ark for the salvation of his family; by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
