8 But you shall receive power by the Holy Spirit coming upon you, and shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and even to the remotest parts of the earth.
4 But as we were approved of God, to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who tries our hearts.
14 You are the light of the world. A city situate on a mountain must be conspicuous.
15 A lamp is lighted to be put, not under a vessel, but on a stand, that it may shine to all the family.
16 Thus, let your light shine before men, that they, seeing your good actions, may glorify your Father, who is in heaven.
19 especially for me, that eloquence may be given me in opening my mouth with boldness, to make known the secret of the gospel;
20 for which I execute the office of an ambassador in a chain; that I may speak boldly concerning it, as it becomes me to speak.
38 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him likewise the Son of man will be ashamed, when he shall come in the glory of his Father, accompanied by the holy angels.
12 Have your behavior comely, among the Gentiles, that, whereas, they speak against you, as evil doers, having beheld your good works, they may glorify God, in the day of visitation.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel; because it is the power of God for salvation, to every one who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
29 But Peter and the other Apostles answered, and said, It is necessary to obey God rather than men.
15 These things inculcate, and exhort, and reprove with all authority; let no one despise you.
