15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall, I, then, take the members of Christ and make them the members of a harlot? By no means.
18 And he is the head of the body, even the congregation. He is the beginning, the first born from the dead, that in all respects he might be pre-eminent.
24 I now rejoice in sufferings for you, and fill up the remainder of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh, for his body, which is the congregation;
27 Now, you are Christ's body, and members in particular.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit; as also you have been called with one hope of your calling;
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts; to which also you are called in one body, and be thankful.
16 from whom, the whole body, fitly joined together, and compacted by the service of every joint, according to the energy, in the proportion of each particular part, effects the increase of the body, for the edification of itself in love.
4 For, as in one body we have many members, but all the members have not the same office;
5 so we, the many, are one body under Christ, and individually members of one another.
12 For, as the body is one, although it have many members; and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the congregation:
30 because we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
