12 but to as many as received him, believing in his name, he granted the privilege of being children of God;
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature, is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God.
1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus inquiring, Who shall be the greatest in the Reign of Heaven?
2 Jesus calling to him a child, placed him in the midst of them,
3 and said, Indeed, I say to you, unless you be changed, and become as children, you shall never enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever, therefore, shall become humble like this child.
31 And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house.
13 Then they brought children to him, that he might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14 Jesus perceiving this, was offended, and said, Allow the children to come to me, do not hinder them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
4 one who rules well his own house, having his children in subjection to him with all gravity:
25 On that occasion Jesus said, I adore thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because, having concealed these things from sages and the learned, thou hast revealed them to babes:
20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
5 «Besides, have you forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children,» 'My son, do not think lightly of the Lord's chastisement, neither faint when you are rebuked by him:'
6 «for whom the Lord loves he chastises, and scourges every son whom he receives.»
7 If you endure chastisement, God deals with you as his children. For what son is there whom his father does not chastise?
8 But if you be without chastisement, of which all sons are partakers, certainly you are bastards, and not sons.
9 Farther, we have had fathers of our flesh, who chastised us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of our spirits, and live?
16 Also this spirit bears witness, together with our spirit, that we are children of God.
10 Beware of contemning any of these little ones; for I assure you, that in heaven, their angels continually behold the face of my heavenly Father:
52 And Jesus advanced in wisdom, and stature, and in power with God and man.
14 Jesus said, Let the children alone, and hinder them not from coming to me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
26 For you are all the sons of God through the faith by Christ Jesus.
27 Besides, as many of you have been immersed into Christ, have put on Christ.
15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage, again, to fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.
11 Now, no chastisement, indeed, for the present, seems to be matter of joy, but of sorrow. Nevertheless, afterward it returns the peaceful fruit of righteousness to them who are trained by it.
2 Beloved, now we are the children of God; but it does not yet appear what we shall be. However, we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him-that we shall see him as he is.
3 And every one who has this hope in him purifies himself, even as He is pure.
4 Also, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; but bring them up in the correction and instruction of the Lord.
22 Flee, therefore, youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with them who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
4 Also, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; but bring them up in the correction and instruction of the Lord.
9 Happy the peace-makers; for they shall be called sons of God!
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord; for this is just.
2 Honor your father and mother, (which is the first commandment with a promise,)
3 that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.
14 Jesus said, Let the children alone, and hinder them not from coming to me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
2 And what things you have heard from me by many witnesses, these commit in trust to faithful men, who shall be fit also to teach others.
1 Behold how great love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know him.
3 and said, Indeed, I say to you, unless you be changed, and become as children, you shall never enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever, therefore, shall become humble like this child.
5 Nay, whosoever receives one such child, in my name, receives me:
4 I have no greater joy than that which I have when I hear my children are walking in truth.
1 Be, therefore, imitators of God, as beloved children;
12 Little children, I write to you, because your sins are forgiven you, on account of his name.
36 And he took a child, and placed him in the midst of them, and holding him in his arms, said to them,
37 Whosoever shall receive one such child on my account, receives me; and whosoever shall receive me, receives not me, but him who sent me.
14 Because, as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.
21 Fathers, do not exasperate your children, lest they be discouraged.
15 When they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me more than these? He answered, Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.
4 I have no greater joy than that which I have when I hear my children are walking in truth.
8 For if any one provide not for his own, and especially those of his own family, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
